Located on the 5th row at Whalehead Beach, Robyn’s Nest has everything needed for a relaxing family vacation at the Outer Banks. 5 bedrooms and 3 baths plus a private pool and hot tub. Enjoy ocean views from the crow’s nest. Spacious decks on top and 2nd levels for sunning or relaxing in the shade. Enjoy the screened-in porch for outdoor dining or reading a book. House is located on the 2nd lot from the corner making it a short walk to the beach.

Linens provided and beds made. All bath towels, wash cloths, bath mats, kitchen towels and bed linens are provided. The only thing you need to bring are beach towels.

Minutes to area shopping, restaurants, attractions and Food Lion or Harris Teeter grocery store. For those that like to drive their vehicles on the beach (4WD required), there is a vehicle beach access point located approximately 3 miles north. You can drive all the way to the Virginia border and see the wild horses along the way.

Level 1 – Access to gated pool and hot tub/basketball/outside shower/outside grille/5 beach chairs provided.

This place is great. It really has pretty much everything you need all you gotta bring is clothes and beach towels. The owner is extremely responsive if needed and very welcoming. My family had a blast in the pool, running around all the decks, sitting in the hammocks and playing in the "hot pool" as the kids called the hot tub. Great place, good location, good stuff. If anything, the pics don't do it justice.

Kevin was great. When we arrived, the upstairs ac initially was working but by the evening it had stopped. The next morning I contacted Kevin and he had someone out to fix it within a few hours. The house was great for the location and our needs. Kevin was very kind and allowed us to check in early while we were in between houses for our work. I will keep him and his properties in mind for future stays.

Relaxing Getaway

We had the most incredible time at Robyn’s Nest. Two weeks of relaxation and unplugged family time. First week was really beach friendly with calm water and hot weather. Second week was cool weather and perfect for hot tubbing and reading. The house was great for 6 young adults and two tired parents who needed a break. Kevin was accommodating and responsive and a fantastic host. Highly recommend for a family getaway.

Awesome stay! Close to many attractions

Loved staying at birds nest. It’s in a great location - near to beach, wild horse tours, water sports, light house! The private pool and spa were clean an enjoyable. The only qualm I had was that the kitchen smelled of fish and we had to use a room freshener.

Great location - very clean

Just what we needed for 2 families!! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. About 1.5 blocks from the beach. Nice quiet area away from the hustle and bustle but everything we needed was within a 2 mile radius. Would definitely stay here again!

Great time in Corolla

Great location only a few houses down from the beach access path and a short walk to the beach. The house was clean, organized and had everything we needed. Loved to pool, hot tub and plenty of outdoor deck space. Couldn't have asked for a better stay in Corolla!

First Family Vacation in Years

We had a wonderful experience at the property. The neighborhood is quiet and family oriented. Just a short walk to the beach on a very nice public walkway. The beach offered lots of shells to find and was clean. We had unseasonably cool weather but that’s the luck of the draw. Our entire family had a wonderful stay!

We had an amazing time. Kevin was great to work with. Other than cleaning crew being late which caused late getting in to the house, it was great. Would recommend this house, but would suggest more towels for guest.

Corolla vacation

We all thought that the property had everything it claimed to have. It was conveniently located to all that we needed while there. Easy walking distance to the beach, and less than 2 miles to several restaurants, mini golf, and grocery stores. It was clean an the owner was responsive to any questions we had. Excellent!

May Vacation 2021

Our stay at Robyn’s Nest was great! The house was wonderful and very clean. We were a short distance from the ocean. In which we went twice a day. Great neighborhood. We just had the most amazing vacation at Robyn’s Nest — it truly felt like a home away from home. Kevin was such a thoughtful and welcoming host, and the house had absolutely everything we could have needed and more. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials — pots, pans, utensils, Tupperware, and even small appliances — making it easy to enjoy meals together as a family.The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable for all 9 of us. After long days at the beach, the pool and hot tub were the perfect way to relax and unwind. And speaking of the beach — the access was just one house away, and the short walk made it effortless to enjoy the sand and surf whenever we wanted.We truly loved every moment of our stay and are already dreaming of coming back. We currently live in a small town outside of Harrisburg, PA. We raised our three children in this area and have vacationed on the Outer Banks for nearly 30 years. We were attracted to the North Carolina beaches because of the scenic beauty, family friendly environment, clean beaches and light crowds.

Why they chose this property

We have vacationed on the Outer Banks for nearly 30 years. After staying in several locations prior to purchasing our home we selected Whalehead because of the large private lots. Due to the expensive land acquisition costs most communities have very small lot sizes and the homes are very close to each other. In Whalehead most lots are approximately 1/2 acre in size. This provides more spacious accommodations and fewer people crowding the beaches.

What makes this property unique

Clean beaches, scenic views, family friendly environment and non-crowded beaches. Close to the historic lighthouse. Enjoy all the amenities the ocean and the sound offer - surfing, beach combing, walks, wild horse watching, driving on the beach, kayaking, fishing and much, much more.
