Our experience at this property was horrible. The host gave us an incorrect code for one of the units that resulted in wasting over an hour at check in to finally get the correct code. Multiple safety issues that violate VRBOs policies - loose handrail, outlets hanging from walls, exposed wires. Both units smelled of weed (even with explicit check in instructions that no smoking of any kind is allowed at the property). According to the listing linens are provided - but there were only 2 complete sets of bed linens provided for 13 people (we paid extra for more guests).The host scheduled a pest control technician to treat the basement (where a bedroom is) at 9am the first morning of our stay - we turned the technician away. VRBO was good enough to refund our booking service fee but a refund of the reservation fee is up to the host who has become unresponsive. To VRBOs credit they offered to comp us for a hotel if we chose not to stay, but at 9:30 pm with 13 people (7 young children), leaving to find a hotel wasn’t an option. I could go on, but I’ll just say avoid this property at all costs. The host is Dan from TBFS Investment Properties - I’d avoid all their properties. I’ll update this if he’s good enough to respond and make any attempts to make this right with us.
Much of the furniture shown in the listing photos has been swapped out for much nastier, cheap pieces.
