Completely renovated beach downstairs apartment across the street from the beach. Everything has been totally updated. Fully furnished. Refinished hardwood floors in living area, kitchen and one bedroom. Newly tiled master bedroom and bath. Updated kitchen with all the amenities. Fenced backyard with grill, hammock and picnic table. Great restaurants, coffee shop, surf shops, entertainment and the pier within walking distance. All other shopping a very short drive. Two full bedrooms; one with king size bed one with two twin beds. Bathroom has tub/shower.

High Speed Internet, streaming HDTV

Smaller size pets are allowed with our prior approval and a pet deposit.

Parking limited in front of house to two vehicles.

The beach can be seen from the front porch. The owners have some beach chairs, boogie boards and surfboards for use. Amazing backyard for BBQ's. The house is wonderfully remodeled and gave me a lot of New England beach cottage vibes. I would absolutely stay here again. Wonderful stay. Great experience. We were fortunate to have great weather which only made things better. Very enjoyable week. Many thanks to the owners for letting us stay.

Everything was wonderful!!! We had a great stay. Extremely well stocked with everything we needed. Super clean and cute. So close to a really lovely beach. Boogie boards were a lot of fun…also bikes but we didn’t get a chance to use them. Host very responsive. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend!!

Jacksonville Beach Vacation

There are so many good things to say about our stay. The house was roomy and comfortable with plenty of ways to relax and enjoy our vacation. The backyard hammock was very relaxing and I enjoyed having breakfast outdoors. The family enjoyed the bicycles and beach gear. The home owners were really great and worked to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. I look forward to staying here again when we return to the area.

Short get away

I came along as my husband had to work at NAS so I booked this place because it was close to the beach and I could walk to restaurants and shops while he worked! Jennifer the host was awesome and the place was clean and lovely!

My husband and I have owned this property for 25 years and it was built by his great-grandparents in 1926. I am a retired high school teacher and my husband still works in the medical field full time. In the past we have rented both the upstairs and downstairs apartments to full time tenants but after some major renovations we decided to try our hand at renting out the lower unit short term as a vacation rental home and keeping the upper unit vacant for personal use. After almost two years on VRBO we can honestly say we've truly enjoyed the experience and have met some great people.

Why they chose this property

My husband's great-grandparents had the house built in the 1920's when Jacksonville Beach was known as Pablo Beach. He still has fond memories of summer vacations with aunts, uncles, cousins and Gramma at 'the Beachhouse' when he was growing up.

What makes this property unique

We live close by in Jacksonville and are available if we are needed. The views from the place are great and the distance to the beach can't be beat! Fun,Sun,Sand and Surf. What more can be said?
