Sweet Rosabelle cottage on Tybee Island, GA

Sweet Rosabelle is a vintage 1 bdrm cottage on the south end of Tybee Island within walking distance to the boardwalk, ocean beach, and back river beach. Once part of old Fort Screvin army base at the island's north end, it was moved and joined to another cottage at a quirky angle to create a charming duplex. Rain or shine, relax on your screened front porch, and after a day at the beach, wash away sand and sea in the outdoor shower. We use only non-toxic cleaning products. There are 4 steps to the entrance of the cottage. Not suitable for children under 12 yrs. No pets, smoking, or vaping permitted.

Sweet Rosabelle is a mere 500 sq. ft., but includes everything you'll need to enjoy your stay on Tybee Island. The roomy screened porch has wicker chairs for relaxing, fans to keep you cool, mellow lights after the sun sets, and a table and chairs to enjoy your meals outdoors. Inside, each room has a ceiling fan, and there's a split heat/ac unit in the kitchen and bedroom. The unit is equipped with wifi.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the dishes and utensils you will need to prepare a meal. Choose the drip coffee maker, the Keurig machine, or the Moka pot for your morning coffee. There are complimentary Keurig pods, coffee beans and a grinder, as well as tea bags and sugar. There is no dishwasher, but a complimentary-sized dish liquid is provided, along with kitchen linens and a roll of paper towels.

The living room has a comfortable loveseat, a wicker rocking chair, a fully stocked bookshelf, board games in the chest of drawers, and a Roku TV.

The bedroom offers a queen-sized bed and an armoire and dresser for your clothing. Extra quilts are stored in the dresser. You will find an iron, ironing board, and a drying rack in the armoire. There is no TV in the bedroom.

The bathroom has a tiled shower and is stocked with towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper, hand soap, and a complimentary-sized shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion.

The washer/dryer unit is in the kitchen. 2 fragrance-free washer sheets are provided, and 2 reusable dryer balls to reduce static are in a container attached to the side. of the dryer. Please return to the container after use.

The parking space for Sweet Rosabelle is to the left of the unit. Parking for an extra vehicle or for a golf cart may be possible with the host's approval.

You'll find the outdoor hot/cold shower through the gate at the end of the guest driveway. It is also available to guests of Jasmine Cottage.

Beach gear for Sweet Rosabelle guests is stored in the bin next to the outdoor shower. It includes beach chairs, umbrellas, a beach wagon, and coolers. Beach towels are stored on the shelf of a nightstand in the bedroom.

Sweet Rosabelle is 3 blocks from the ocean beach, 4 blocks from the boardwalk, 5 blocks from the back river beach, 5 blocks from the grocery store, and 2+ blocks from many of the island's restaurants. A short walk in one direction, and you can watch the sunrise over the ocean. Stroll the back river beach In the evening to watch as it sets.
