Welcome to your escape in the woods—a quiet 6.5 acre retreat perched on a peaceful ridge in the Luminary area of Spring City, TN. This three-bedroom, two-bath home offers comfort, calm, and country charm. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the pace slow and the fresh mountain air settle you.
You can stay and relax, or explore the numerous state parks nearby, Watts Bar Lake, and so much more!
The property features:
-Spacious living room with cozy coffee nook.
-Dining room table with seating for 8.
-All three bedrooms are located upstairs. Each has a dresser, a fan, and a tv.
-There are two full bathrooms; one upstairs and one down.
-The laundry room has a washer and dryer for your convenience. *Laundry soap is not provided
-Large deck off the back of the house has a table, two chairs and a loveseat with a view over the property. -Enjoy the sound of wind through the trees.
-The front porch has two sturdy rocking chairs and a table, which face southeast - perfect spot for early morning coffee.
We provide a starter amount of the following items for your convenience:
-coffee, sugar, creamer
-toilet paper
-paper towels
-dishwasher pods
-dishwasher detergent
-trash bags
-shampoo & conditioner
-body wash
*Pets are not allowed - if a pet is found to be on the property, guests forfeit their reservation and are subject to additional cleaning fees.
**Our property is designed, and insured for a maximum of eight guests. More than eight guests present will cancel the reservation with no refund. Thank you for understanding the importance of this policy.

Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Remove all trash to outside bins located by the deck stairs. Please secure the bungee cords over the lids to keep wildlife protected.
Turn off all electronics, lamps, ceiling fans, and lights.
Nothing else is required but if you moved any furniture, it would be appreciated if you move it back.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Hello. My husband Dave and I, along with our friends Matt and Jess purchased Chestnut Ridge Retreat together. It is our home away from home with our combined 4 kids. We are two families who do life together. We try to travel together as often as possible and spend many of our days creating memories together. Thanks for considering our home on the ridge for your stay. We hope you love it as much as we do.

We were looking for a property that felt off the beaten path and quiet. We truly wanted a place to rest, refresh and explore. Hopefully cows lowing in the distance while deer make their way through the woods offer the same respite for you.
