Welcome to Kamalani Lodge, a cozy and well-appointed retreat designed for comfort and relaxation, just a short 6-minute drive from Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park.

After a day of exploring Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park, relax in the living room beside the warm gas fireplace and enjoy a 65” TV—perfect for a peaceful movie night. Two of the bedrooms also include their own TVs for added comfort and privacy.

The primary bedroom features a California King bed, while the guest bedroom offers a Queen bed. Both include electric bed warmers for those cool Volcano evenings.

In addition, the home includes a private fireplace bonus room with its own exterior entrance—an inviting flex space that provides extra room to spread out. It features a full-size futon ideal for one adult or two children, along with a cozy electric fireplace, creating a second warm retreat to read, relax, or unwind.

A dedicated workspace is available for remote work or planning your next island adventures.

Kamalani Lodge includes a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed to prepare meals, plus a spacious front porch with comfortable seating—perfect for morning coffee and cool Volcano evenings.

You’ll enjoy convenient access to local favorites like Volcano Winery, the Volcano Village Farmers Market, the nearby golf course, and a community park with a playground and skate area.

I chose this neighborhood because it’s peaceful and surrounded by rainforest, yet only minutes from Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park. I love how easy it is to visit the park early or even head up when activity is happening—sometimes I check the webcams and go before the crowds. Being close to Volcano Village, local cafés, and the farmers market makes it an ideal place to relax and explore.
