Located in Playa Blanca, Villa Kodotoma has everything your need for a relaxing holiday. The spacious house offers a view of the sea and the mountains and consists of a living/dining room, a very well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a library, 3 bedrooms (one with 2 single beds) as well as 2 bathrooms. The property can therefore accommodate 6 people. Additional amenities include high-speed fiber optic internet, a washing machine, fans and a television with all kinds of sports channels and Netflix. Overall it was ok. There was clearly an ant and cockroach problem as there were ant traps in the kitchen and on the first day we left a sealed croissant on the kitchen top and came back to ants and mini cockroaches everywhere. Every night coming home we had to use cockroach and insect killer in the ktichenThe pool didnt get cleaned in the whole week we were there but previous apartments we had stayed in had been cleaned the day we arrived and midweekI had to send a whats app message to the owner to get the keybox key the day before with absolutely no communication from the owner beforehand. On arrival the apartment had been deep cleaned and looked really clean so no issues with cleanliness and is in a good location. Overall it was ok but wouldnt stay there again would find a different apartmement

The villa was lovely, missing / broken essential items .

Pros: The location. Cons: There were items missing/ broken and when I formed said they would be replaced but never arrived. Kept saying they were coming to collect deposit but never came. Did stay in waiting for them. i sent photos of broken items to inform them when arrived.

Didn’t live up to potential….

we have had no contact with the local host save 2 whatsapp messages one of which informed us that she did not speak English so text comms would be better. It seems someone is not doing their job in looking after this Villa and I’m sure the owner would be quite unhappy,the issues faced were: Pool cover ripped Pool light not working Pool paint flaking Pool net pole comes apart (extn) Pool filter/pump enclosure has dangerous electrics with non assembled consumer unit (not locked and tiny hands can open) Gazebo shade not supplied as per pictures Gazebo hammock not supplied as per pictures Table extension broken Barbecue missing charcoal tray No cooking bbq tools Sunshade stand broken No fuse-ball as pictured when booked No Villa instructions except for Wi-Fi (tv boxes, security system etc) B1 on suite shower drain slow and overflows B1 wc brush has no container B2 window shutters rattle all night with wind Kitchen breakfast bowls x 2 only (Villa sleeps 6) Strong damp smell In laundry room No games and books for children as mentioned in description (had a 3 year old) Had to reassemble fan and service to make it work General lack of attention to detail, not well maintained Given the 2.5k paid for this 2 weeks rental I feel the standard falls short of the price tag, we have frequented Lanzarote for 7 years but this, I’m afraid, is the worst Villa we have ever rented despite being the 2nd most expensive. Complaint Response: no responsibility taken.

We regret that the host was not contacted during your stay, in regard to the issues you mentioned, and we would like to put forward our comments. We assure you that the pool light has been checked and is working properly. Furthermore, the pool engine is properly covered, and is padlocked. Additionally, the barbecue model works well and has no deposit for coal, and the umbrella is in perfect condition. In regard to the outdoor table, one of the extensions was removed, however it is in good condition. All of our accommodation prices are checked ahead of publication to ensure that they are in line with the market prices for the location and the amenities offered. We appreciate your feedback, and hope to welcome you to a Holidu property again soon. Team Holidu.

Este alojamiento en si no estaba del todo mal pero habian muchas cosas que mejorar.. el jardin estaba super descuidado y sucio, habian cucarachas pequeñas en la cocina y estuvimos toda la semana conviviendo con ellas... la piscina bien pero no sabemos que tenia pero nos dejo todos los pelos verdes,toallas , ropa de piscina...En verano que es cuando nos quedamos habia demasiado calor en las habitaciones.Las camas son incomodas y las almohadas son bastante mejorables.La verdad que no fue del todo lo que me esperaba.En toda la semana solo fueron un dia a limpiar la pisicina. En general la villa no esta mal pero le falta un poco mas de cuidado.

Respecto a la limpieza de la piscina, trabajaremos para reforzar este punto y asegurar un mejor mantenimiento en el futuro. En cada dormitorio cuenta con ventiladores para ayudar a sobrellevar mejor el calor en los meses de verano, lamentamos mucho que no haya sido suficiente ante el calor que sintieron este verano, lo sentimos mucho. Lamentamos los inconvenientes que encontró durante su estancia y trabajaremos en los puntos señalados para que futuros huéspedes disfruten de la villa en mejores condiciones. Holidu team

Great place with a lovely pool

As a group of 4, we loved our stay at this spacious property. The rooms were lovely, comfy beds, ensuite toilets and showers were great. 20 minute walk to Playa Blanca beach and restaurants. Ample parking. We cooked a nice meal in the kitchen. Well equipped with dishwasher. So lovely to have the pool. Thank you
