I wish I could give The Owl and Firefly ten stars instead of 5. It's truly such a special vacation place that’s bound to bring joy to any family who comes here! Incredibly beautiful and so carefully planned and equipped, with great attention and much generosity given to every single detail, it made us feel so comfortable and truly cared for in a way I've never felt before in a vacation rental. The photos are very accurate but everything is even better when you can stand in the middle of the house and see all the trees surrounding you inside it's glowing wood walls. There are so many wonderful cozy spaces to be together and have fun, or good conversations, or for the kids to want to play in by themselves - there's a great mural on a real climbing wall, a standing swing and a tent in one corner downstairs that made our 3 and 6 year olds blissfully happy for hours; many beautiful toys and games for all ages; a sweet porch with a chair swing we had to set a timer for because it was everyone's favorite. And so much more - I'm sure any family will truly enjoy discovering all the great things about this place by yourselves, as we did on a rainy weekend nestled into this inspiring and cozy big cabin in the woods.
