Great neighborhood, charming home. Beautiful double doors that open onto a small garden. Host had suggestions for dining and entertainment. The host was available but it was still very private. We loved our stay in Charleston!!
We had the most wonderful stay at this charming carriage house tucked back into one of the Charleston's historic neighborhoods!! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed and completely taken in by its character, beauty and cozy inviting charm. So many little touches, like the fun artwork and books on the historic aspects of the Holy City complimented the space. We especially loved the attention preserving the historic charm with exposed brick and reclaimed or original?? wood, while maintaining a fresh and stylish ambiance. The kitchen was absolutely beautiful and a perfect place to enjoy our morning coffee while looking out into the garden! Everything was extremely clean, neat with a touch of the luxurious. The beds were incredibly comfortable and perfect for a great night sleep after a day of walking and dining through the streets of Charleston. The location and recommendations by the hosts were spot on too! Would definitely book again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable Charleston get-away!!
We were impressed from the beginning to the end of our stay at Casa Zoe! The most beautiful and charming place. We had everything that we needed and we all imagined how lovely it would be to actually live there!! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience! I have already recommend it to several people and will definitely book it again For myself the next time i come to Charleston!!
This place is amazing — lush gardens, quiet and tucked away off a beautiful residential street (but yet walkable to everything), very nice hosts and a beautiful dog. Loved the interior design too. Would stay again! Thanks
Walking down the tree lined driveway to the carriage house is magical! The charm of this place is unreal. It was clean, had everything we needed and the owners went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We will be back!
It was PERFECT! From the moment you walked in, it had a great smell and atmosphere. The beds were clean and very comfortable. I would love to stay there again!

Our family enjoyed the carriage house very much - the living area was comfortable and a gracious space to be together. The beds were comfortable and the location was just a short walk to anywhere in Charleston. We would definitely love to come stay again!

So great to have y'all- please come back again soon!
Cannot say enough about how much we loved this property. It is in a very safe, very quiet area but within a 15 minute walk to King Street and tons of restaurants and shops. It is located behind the main house so it is set off of the main street a little bit and very private. The courtyard is beautiful and serene with high walls around it. The house itself is gorgeous, with exposed wood beams and beautiful brick walls. Despite the old world look, it is modern inside with a nice shower, 2 bathrooms, WiFi, and smart TV. There was an iron and ironing board available, stacked washer/dryer, and lots of extra sheets, blankets, and towels. Communication with management was literally immediate with responses to any questions within a few minutes. Wonderful place to call “home” for a visit to Charleston!
My mother and I stayed in the carriage house with my daughters (13,11) over the winter break. The house is so charming and well appointed, providing everything we needed for an enjoyable stay in Charleston. We all agreed that the beds were very comfortable and the garden area was so beautiful to look out onto. Would absolutely stay here again on a return trip!
It was so great to get away and relax in this charming city.
This carriage house was just perfect- we parked and never drove again. Everything is within 1 mile. There was an amazing coffee shop down the street that we went to every day, we enjoyed amazing seafood, did a walking food tour, took a boat tour for some Charleston history- it was the perfect getaway. This place was home away from home.

Thank you for the kind words! Sounds like a lovely weekend! Hope you visit again!
Every aspect of this property is amazing. It’s hard to say if the property (design, comfort, overall vibe) is the main attraction or the location (beautiful neighborhood, blocks away from the heart of the city). We truly fell in love. I will ALWAYS come back here- worth every penny.

Magical week
Gibbon House was a perfect location from which to explore Charleston. Many things were within an easy 15 minute walk in either direction. It was also easy to get to Shemms Creek, Sullivan's, Foley, and Sullivan's Beach. Would definitely recommend the carriage house and its owner who was a wonderful host and his fabulous ambassador, Sierra.

I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay at our beautiful carriage house! I just want to clarify that our beds in both bedrooms are queen size beds as we advertise. We also do not advertise having TVs in our bedrooms as we hope people will enjoy the beauty and cultural aspects of their surroundings.
I’m so sorry that there were not enough paper towels. We have a whole stock in the closet in the garage- all you need to do is let us know if you need something, and we will have it there for you immediately.
I do hope you enjoyed the courtyard. We have multiple pictures of the garden, and because of the detailed manicuring, we do not have a table, but we do provide a bench for outdoor seating.
I hope this clears up any confusion, as we are very proud that we advertise our properties exactly as they are.
I hope you enjoyed your time in Charleston!
