Lake Garfield Waterfront

span style="font-size:14px;">Lake Garfield Waterfront is a dynamic, adorable, cozy and exhilarating rental experience directly on the water!
Amenities: Three Bedrooms, 3.5 baths, sleeps 8, with swimming and mooring dock, 2 paddle boards, a kayak, and several life vests of various sizes (kids and adult). There is also a sailing boat available for seasoned sailors (for an additional charge). Lake Garfield is one of the premier swimming lake with few weeds, ice skating and ice fishing available (weather permitting) during the winter months. Other amenities include: Central AC, Fiber optic high speed internet (so fast!), 4 TVs with Amazon Firestick (no cable), DVD player, washer, dryer, all high-end kitchen appliances, stone patio with swing rockers, and an incredible screened in porch. In general this is a no pets property, however 1 small, well-behaved, non-shedding dog may be considered with a $150 pet fee. NO SMOKING please...
The Space: There is plenty of parking off-street above the house with wide stone steps that lead down to the entrance. Once inside, you step into an entryway outfitted with storage for all of your outdoor gear. This leads into the eat in kitchen with terrific high end appliances - Viking range, dishwasher, Cuisinart microwave and coffee maker, toaster oven, and many more fun cooking gadgets! All dishes, utensils and linens are included, including beach towels! Just off the kitchen is the dining area which seats 6+ guest and a half bath. (There are also 2 stools at the kitchen peninsula should you need extra seating.) Just beyond the kitchen is the the living room, with comfortable seating and a flat screen tv with streaming channels for your viewing pleasure. And just beyond that is the faboulous screened porch! This large porch is a major feature and has ample seating for dinging and relaxing along with great lake views - it feels like you are in a treehouse.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms and they both boast en suite bathrooms! The primary bedroom has a king bed, small balcony (great for your morning cup of coffee), a tv with streaming channels, and a full ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, a tv with streaming channels, and another full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
The lower level of this home boasts a fabulous bonus room, which serves as a 3rd bedroom with a queen bed and an additional pull out sofa bed, so all together this space sleeps another 4 guests! There is another full bathroom here as well, with a walk-in shower and washer/dryer. There is also plenty of seating with 2 sofas and 2 chairs, a gas fireplace, and a large TV with a amazon firestick for streaming. This is a terrific kid space, or guest room for any age!
Outside this lower ground level floor is a covered porch with 2 rocking chairs and a porch swing. Such easy lakeside living! Just steps away is the new large stone patio with dining table, adirondack chairs and fire pit to roast marhmellows. Head down the stone steps to the waterfront where you will discover a large sun deck, dock and a ton of lake toys to enjoy! There are many paddle boards, kayaks, and more including a single scull row boat, and several life vests of various sizes. There is also a sailing boat available, for seasoned sailors, for an additional $500 charge per week and an increased security deposit. Please inquire about that!
Lake Info and Boat Rental: Lake Garfield is a premier swimming lake with few weeds, moderate temperatures in summer, and with ice skating and ice fishing in the winter, too. This is just a delightful place to enjoy year-round. Lake Garfield does permit speed boats. Please inquire for information about boat or jet ski rentals.
Location: This home is less then 10 minutes to Ski Butternut and about 15 to the center of Great Barrington. It has high speed internet to support all of your Zoom calling, Central AC and more. This house has it all!
