Kaoline Station House

Relax with family and friends at this peaceful, tucked away rustic country home. Unplug and unwind. Enjoy chickens in the side yard, animal and bird watching right from the porch and feel free to bring your dogs and let them run in our fenced in back yard! Huge kitchen set up for cooking all the delicious foods found locally at our many Southern Illinois farms and orchards. We are known for our summer peaches and fall apples! Shop our farmer’s markets or you can forage right here or hunt your own food on near by public hunting grounds. Tons of near by hiking trails too. Great country setting less than 2 miles from town, located on the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. Enjoy!

I really only slept there as I was working near by, but very clean and comfortable beds! Road to it is treacherous although obviously not the owners fault. Beautiful decor!

The house was very clean. Owners had all sorts of little extra items to use in case you forgot something which is very nice. Communication was above and beyond for this first timer using any kind of service like this. So appreciated! Also loved the remoteness of home Very quiet and peaceful! Cats and turtles are cool too!
