Great Vacation!

The condo was very nice and spacious for two bedrooms. We had two minor issues that took longer to resolve than it should. Once those issues are resolved, I would highly recommend this property.

True to details

It was a nice place. Shower base is moldy definitely needs attention. Tub needed cleaning better. Potatoes Chips in pantry floor. Otherwise, satisfied.

Admiral's Quarters

Beautiful condos, beach, and property. Cons: Our unit was dirty. Their were "southern" hairs in the jacuzzi, we had to dust furniture, wash the smelly bed blanket, toss out old food. A toilet seat, a toilet paper holder, and a table were broken. I reported those to the management. They knew of the issues. Nothing was repaired during out stay. The kitchen appliances, the VHS tape player, and the sofa was outdated. PROS: Great view of the oceN, great location, roomy condo, cute decor.

Spring Break - Not What We Expected

We stayed in this unit in March 2017 for Spring Break. We are a family of four with two daughters. This was our fourth time to stay in Admiral’s Quarters but our first time to stay in this unit. This is also the first time I have felt the need to review a unit. Let me say that we picked this unit for the seating in the living room and for the bunk beds plus twin in the guest room. First the positives, this unit was clean and spacious as are all the units we have rented in AQ. There was plenty of seating for our family of four in the living/dining areas and all rooms had a DVD player. Now the “less-desirables”, the free Wi-Fi was intermittent at best. The king mattress in the master was lumpy and uncomfortable. The ice maker in the freezer did not work and was not repaired until Thursday. We had to moderate hot water usage by taking short lukewarm showers (and this was without running laundry or the dishwasher during the day. This was the first time this has happened to us since renting AQ units). The ceiling fan in the guest bedroom was loose (appeared to be unscrewing) when turned on which I’m guessing is why there was a free-standing fan in that room. The twin bed frame in that room was squeaky and very loud. Every time my daughter turned over or moved, the bed squeaked. Finally, we each had one bath towel and one washcloth. There were only two hand towels but three bathrooms (and five hand towel bars). Although we made the best of our week, we will not rent this unit again. There are too many nicer units in the building that we have experienced no previous problems with.
