The Space:

Only a plank boardwalk separates you from the open beach at Jenny Lind West, a five-bedroom, gulf-front escape on the shores of Orange Beach. It's a truly spectacular scene - white sand outside your back door and the sound of crashing waves providing the soundtrack for your vacation.

Thank you! The house was nice! Love being right on the water! Stove top may need attention the heat coils don’t stay red while cooking on it. We had to make (2) beds since the house wasn’t ready by 4:00. We got in around 4:30. Overall good experience! The carpet on the steps need updating, it’s very stained and dirty looking. We had great family time! Thank you, Sonja

This unit has plenty of beach access. The pool, however, is entirely too hot and very uncomfortable to use for long periods of time. There is only one entrance to the unit with steep steps that take you to the second level(main floor), and then again to the third floor.

Family trip

My family fit perfectly in the beach house. The 5 bedrooms and bathroom in each bedroom was definitely a plus. Easy access to the beach was also great!

Bicycling Friends

This house comfortably slept 5 couples on our annual trip to cycle through the state park. The location is close to the park, yet close to those good Orange Beach restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!

Family vacation

Had a wonderful family vacation celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. Kids loved having the beach behind us and the pool in front. Three levels of house let us spread out.

comfortable for 3 families

Great location, not near condos, private pool and easy to walk to beach. It is an older home so some of the doors that face the water were hard to close.

Perfect for family Thanksgiving gathering

Jenny Lind West was a comfortable and convenient place for our family Thanksgiving gathering. The 5 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, good sized living room, 2 dining tables, and kitchen with island, provided plenty of space for all 9 of us. The short walk to the lovely, uncrowded beach was ideal. The three parking spaces out front were great for unloading and loading, and the overflow lot just on the other side of the pool (closed for winter) wasn’t too far either. Highly recommend this lovely beach house!!

Sweet memories

Wow….. this house was perfect for our family. You step off the porch and you are in the sand!! Beautiful views from the deck and the house was clean and very comfortable. We loved the fact that the house was in a gated area and traffic was minimal. Pools were right out the back doors. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This beach house is conveniently located right on the sand and near shopping and restaurants. The floor plan fit our needs perfectly. TVs in every room were a good distraction when the weather was too cold to be outside. Balconies on each level as well as numerous large windows provided beautiful views! The kitchen had most supplies we needed. We brought our own supplies as well since we knew we’d be doing a lot of cooking. Our major complaint was a very delayed response from maintenance regarding pest control issues as well as appliances that weren’t working. We called on Sunday when we arrived, but the repair man did not come until Friday. Also, the queen bed on the main floor as well as the queen bed on the bottom floor were not comfortable. We made the best of it and loved our time together as a family. Our grandchildren had a blast on the beach. However, we won’t be renting this house again.
