This was the perfect spot to stay while exploring St. Louis! The host was super fast in responding and the house was exceptionally clean. I would highly recommend!
Very clean and great supplies. While we would have preferred a Keurig coffee maker it did give us an opportunity to explore the many local cafes. The only snag was the code for the lockbox changed. Figured it out quickly.
Cute, centrally located, and convenient. Some of the amenities were not instantly intuitive (for instance, the light fixtures and air conditioning), but the host was gracious and responsive. All in all, this was a very cozy and pleasant respite from the stress of visiting my family!
Only trivial complaints, lack of food storage in kitchen, lack of towel racks in bathroom, limited sitting space in living room. Other than that it was great, host got back to my questions within minutes, 10 min away from Zoo and Botanical Gardens, 15 away from Arch, Aldi close by
The home was neat and clean; conveniently located within the city; easy access to/from airport, a large fenced back yard and off street parking a definite plus! Comfy kitchen chairs and living room sofa. Loved the walk-in shower with great water pressure and glass doors vs curtain. VRBO provided an entry code however, the home is not fitted with Schalge. Host communicated and provided the key. Would rent again.
This little house was a gem for our girls' getaway. Perfect for all things Forest Park, multiple food delivery options as well as close to restaurants and downtown areas like Webster Groves. AC was wonderful (although if you need moving air, bring a fan)! And one of the most equipped kitchens, I've experienced at a vacation rental. As the British say "it's small but perfectly formed." Communication with Federico was great and the checkout procedure straightforward. It was too hot outside to enjoy the beautiful back yard, but I'm sure it's a delight in cooler seasons, even with snow.
We specifically chose this property because it was close to Forest Park, which is where all the touristy stuff is...but, we found it very convenient to get to all the little neighborhoods, The Hill, Lafayette Square, Tower Grove etc... EXTREMELY clean, and very accommodating (plenty of linens, shampoo, coffee maker, pots & pans etc...we didn't take kids but I noticed a high chair too). The host was very responsive, so overall we highly recommend this little bungalow for a stay in St. Louis.
