We really liked the cabin. It was very clean inside and lots of room outside for the dogs to walk. It was well stocked and Bern was very accommodating by letting us check in early.

The cabin we stayed in was very cute and quaint. It was clean and the hosts were really nice and accommodating. They responded quickly to any questions we had and were open to any suggestions as they recently purchased the property. We love that they are pet friendly since we always travel with our dogs! The price was great and it's close enough to Hancock/Houghton so you have access to a lot of different places to eat or shop. We recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy stay! Thank you!

This is a perfect place for a couple. Comfortable bed and nice hot water were greatly appreciated. Communication with host Vern went smoothly. Unit is adequately stocked with cooking items. Location is quiet, just behind the fire station. Plenty of parking. Our travel was summertime, so parking could be different with snow on the ground. Close (walkable) to Portage Lake. It is a 10 minute drive to Michigan Tech's campus. If you are eating out, most restaurants will be found in Houghton. Super appreciative that this is a pet-friendly place.
