About this property

Hiker's Hideout Blue Ridge Pkwy, Peaceful guest cabin off MM 313

Enjoy a peaceful stay in this guest cabin just off the Blue Ridge Pkwy. Perfect location close to many classic NC trails. Just a few miles to Table Rock/Hawksbill/Linville Gorge, Grandfather Mountain including Beacon Heights, Rough Ridge, Linville Falls and Linville River trout fishing, Price Park and Moses Cone Manor. Only 1/4 mile off the Blue Ridge Parkway at Mile 313 means you won't waste any time starting your morning adventure, and still have all the modern conveniences of home. Road is gravel and we strongly encourage 4WD/AWD in winter or other bad weather. Accessible year round via NC 181. Cabin is next door to your co-host who is available for emergencies. Otherwise you will not see any neighbors except occasional wildlife in the pasture outside your back door.

This wonderful little gem is at the top of the mountain. It’s a great ride up the road to the top of the mountain. The view was wonderful. The house was really a perfect size for just the two of us. It was well stocked with what we needed or wanted. The nice thing was that the owners were right next-door in their house if we needed anything they would’ve come over in a moment. I would highly recommend working with this owner or renting this cabin.

This was an amazing stay and such an ideal location. Hikers hideout was no joke! It was ideally located for all of our hiking needs. We had a short 10 minute drive to Hawksbill for Sunrise and a day of hiking. Also located very close to Upper Creek Falls and Brown Mountain overlook on Blue Ridge Parkway. I would say that if you plan on hiking on the 210 side of the Gorge, this is such an ideal location. The house was so unique in the decorations and really making a hiker feel welcomed. Just a purrfect stay!
