We had an amazing time at Rick's place. It was exactly what we wanted for our first trip to the Big Island. The house, pool and view were the best. The sunsets were next level. We had the best host ever, Dan. I had a lot of questions that he helped answer and he had wonderful suggestions that we definitely used. We hope to go back. I wish I was there right now!

The house was perfect size for two people wanting to have a quiet time together. The view and sunsets were amazing. The pool is smaller but again perfect size for just two people. Everything in the home was clean. The ice maker was a nice plus.

Stayed at Ricks place 14 days, 8/10-24/26. If you're looking to totally unwind and relax,this is the place. Very quiet and right on the waters edge. The views from the large back deck are incredible. The pool is very nice as is the outside shower. Can't say enough about Dan the host. He's on top of everything. He's just minutes away if you need anything. He's just a great guy and very helpful. The place is stocked with everything. We loved this place.

The host, Dan, was very accommodating and really easy to work with. The stay was incredible. The home was very comfortable, the views and sunsets and star watching were amazing. We had a wonderful time staying in this property and I can’t recommend it enough.

Wonderful getaway! This is a great place to stay on the ocean. We enjoyed the open air living day and night - listening to the waves and the whales! The condo had everything you could need. Dan was so welcoming, great communication and helpful! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My wife and I had an amazing stay! The host was very communicative and the house was very well equipped with everything that we needed for our stay! The house surpassed all expectations for us in all ways, the pictures do not do it justice at all. We even got to see a lot of bright different color fish right off the back deck and on our last day we seen a whole group of 10 dolphins traveling together right off the back deck. All in all a very amazing experience and we will be returning to this rental without a doubt!

Rick’s place was everything we needed & wanted! It was perfectly furnished & had a lot of spices, dressings & other cooking supplies. The view was incredible & the pool was perfect. Everything was clean & we loved all of the outdoor living space. We had such good & timely communication with our host. We will be back!

Second time we have been to this home and we love it. Just fans and the ocean breeze to cool you so if you are in need of AC and someone to carry your bags go stay @ the Hilton. Personally we like the home for all of its imperfections as much as the guardian Geckos that appear to be watching you from every angle.

Mother nature was showing us who was in charge when we arrived and Dan made sure we were safe and happy. He went above and beyond. Checking in on us and stopping by. This was our 3rd stay at the property so that should say a lot. The location cannot be beat. Off the beaten path and relaxing. We still did plenty of activities. We have already booked our next visit. My favorite place to stay on the Island.

This was a fantastic house with an amazing view and we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. Dan is super responsive and goes over and above to make sure everything is taken care of. Highly recommend if you want to get away from it all and enjoy the beautiful ocean views.

Out of all the places we have stayed this was one of the absolute best stays yet! Super relaxing... a private pool with an amazing ocean view... beautiful sunsets...what more could you ask for? The kitchen had everythjng we needed to enjoy a night in. We would for sure book this place a million times.

Had a wonderful stay at Rick’s Place. It’s exactly as described - peaceful and private. We spent a lot of time in the pool and on the deck enjoying the ocean view.Dan was quick to answer any questions. There’s everything you need to cook, and we really appreciated the super comfortable bed. Outstanding vacation!

As wonderful as described!

Amazing property amd perfect location for time on the island. So relaxing and the sunsets were amazing. We especially enjoyed the outdoor shower and private pool!

Rick’s Place is fantastic

Incredible ocean views right out your back door. Everything was amazing, including how well stocked everything was from dishes and pots and pans the knives to beach towels, the chairs for the patio, you name it this place had it.
