Relaxing Lakeside Cabin on Big McKenzie Lake, Spooner, WI.

Enjoy a peaceful getaway at this 1520 sq ft 4-bedroom cabin located on beautiful Big McKenzie Lake. Perfect for families, fishing trips, or a relaxing Northwoods escape, this cozy cabin offers comfort, great views, and easy access to everything the lake has to offer. Unplug and relax will be your main goal!

Inside, guests will find a great mix of sleeping options including one queen bed, two full beds, and a bunk bed with a twin over double bed plus a bonus trundle for a small child hidden under bunk. Queen air mattress available as well. Beds include linens—ideal for families or groups. The cabin also features two full bathrooms, making mornings easy and stress-free for everyone.

The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, stove, refrigerator, and microwave so you can prepare meals with ease. Toaster, Coffee Maker (Keurig) and Slow Cooker included. Enjoy dining together after a day on the lake or head out to one of the nearby local bars and restaurants for a classic Wisconsin Friday night fish fry—or catch your own dinner after a successful day fishing!

Big McKenzie Lake is a 1,129-acre lake known for its excellent fishing and clear water. Anglers will appreciate the strong fishery featuring Musky, Walleye, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, and Northern Pike. Panfish are abundant as well, including Bluegill, Black Crappie, Pumpkinseed, and Yellow Perch, along with other species like Bullheads, Cisco, Whitefish, and Bowfin.

Spend your days relaxing on the dock, fishing, swimming, swinging in a hammock or cruising the lake on the pontoon (available for separate rental). Personal Boats can be secured to the docks. A limited supply of lifejackets in boathouse.

The boathouse is a guest favorite, featuring a bar area, fishing pole storage, indoor seating, and rooftop seating with some of the best views on the lake. Rinse off in the outdoor shower (no privacy, yet quirky!)

As evening settles in, gather around the fire pit to make s’mores, tell ghost stories, listen to music, and enjoy the peaceful Northwoods atmosphere.

Your stay includes bedding, bath towels so you can pack light and focus on relaxing.

Once you arrive, you may find that you never want to leave this little piece of lakeside heaven.

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Empty garbage cans and place garbage in "outhouse" next to driveway. Clean up yard of any animal debris.

Leave bed linens on beds. Place all towels on bathroom floors.

Remove all food from refrigerator and cabinets. Place dirty dishes in the sink.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Keep all basket blankets indoors. Bin of outdoor blankets in downstairs bedroom. Guests may not use the indoor fireplace.

No smoking in house, please clean up any smoking debris outside. No throwing lit cigarettes in grass or marshland. We are under high fire watch.

We are on septic, no flushing anything down toilets except toilet paper. No sanitary products or "flushable" wipes may be flushed.

This place is so beautiful, Two docks. The Boat house with all the amenities, on top the area to sit and look out at the lake and enjoy. We love having fires are were so happy to have wood available and the Smores were amazing. The Host was excellent with communication. Our family had a wonderful time. Can't wait to come back another time.
