Hi! My wife Taryn and I would love the opportunity to host you and your group! As life-long Michiganders, we can't wait for you to experience the beauty, fun, and wonder of our beautiful state while retreating "home" to the comfort and serenity of this unique property.
Why they chose this property
With views overlooking a fabulous golf course at one end of the home to a sweeping westward landscape view from the other end, this home is situated with ample outdoor space and stunning vistas. The golf enthusiast can enjoy playing a round at one of several local courses while others can adventure in the waters of nearby Lake Bellaire and Torch Lake. In the winter months, the home is located just a quick 5-minute drive from Schuss Mountain Ski Resort for fun on the slopes. Shanty Creek resort also offers free access to indoor and outdoor pools as well as the beach at Lake Bellaire; and the home is within walking distance to unique bars and restaurants at the resort.
What makes this property unique
This property is one-of-a-kind! The flat-top A-frame central gathering area gives homage to its mid-century building design inspired by typical ski chalets and allows for gatherings of large groups. For quieter moments guests can find relaxation in the reading nook, the well-appointed bedrooms, or even on one of the four outdoor decks. The lower-level offers plenty of entertainment with ping pong, pool, and poker tables along with a 150 in. screen for movie watching. We think everyone will find a little slice of heaven on earth here at Cedarcrest Hideaway.
