Stewart Cottage Beautiful Beachfront 6 Bedroom/4 Bath Home. Accommodates 12

This home has 6BR/4Baths. The master bedroom is downstairs and has a king bed and full bath. Downstairs has 2BR with 2 twin beds in each and 1BR with a full bed and bath with shower(no tub). There is also a main bath on this floor. Upstairs has 2BR with 2 twin beds in one bedroom, 1 king bed in the other and a main bath. There is also a sitting room upstairs with windows across the front for a beautiful view of the ocean.
Downstairs has an open living/dining/ kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, coffee maker, stove/oven and refrigerator. All utensils and cookware provided.
Additional amenities include washer/dryer, cable TV, and WiFi. There is a private patio in the back and a charcoal grill is available.
Linens and bath towels are provided as well.
Beach chairs and beach towels are NOT provided.
There is no longer direct access to the beach from the house, but boardwalk access to the beach is a short walk away.
This home has been in our family for over 50 years. We like to refer to it as 'Our little piece of Heaven.' This is an older home and we are constantly trying to upgrade when we can. We feel it is competitively priced due to age of the home.
We offer monthly rates for Jan.- March. Rate is based on availability of at least 28 days.

Cozy Jekyll Stay

We had a cozy and memorable stay in this charming home—it felt just like visiting a relative’s house for the summer. I stayed with my husband, our child, our parents, and my brother, and we all felt right at home. The beach is a short, easy walk away, and the area is quiet and peaceful day and night. We stayed in an older home on Jekyll Island and absolutely loved it. The location was perfect. You can see the ocean right from the property, and beach access is just a short walk via the designated boardwalks and stairs. It’s about a two-minute stroll on a bike path to reach the sand. At night, the view of the stars and solar system is incredible.The home itself is older, as mentioned, but very clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was ideal for our three-generation family and our four-legged member. The beach was quiet, peaceful, and exactly what we were hoping for. We were able to fish both from the beach and from the pier just a few miles away.We’re already planning our next visit. It was a wonderful trip for my family!

I can’t say enough about the owner Jim and his extra efforts in working with me! The location was great and the house was very spacious for our group with six bedrooms and 4 baths. The location is front row to the beach and had a large second story Sun Room with a great view. I highly recommend this property to anyone with a large group.

We had a wonderful time in this family beach house. I recommend this home if you are looking for a laid back vacation in a gorgeous setting. Deer came in visit mornings and evenings. The bike part was great. The kitchen is well stocked. Also, this is a great place for someone that needs a ground level master suite, and not isolated from the activities in the kitchen and living room. I love the upstairs sun porch. We hope to return. This is an older home, and that's part of the charm. I could just imagine all of the great memories made in this home.

80th Birthday Beach Bonanza

We booked this house for the family to celebrate Dad's 80th birthday. It was fantastic. There was plenty of room for everyone. The sunroom was a hit, super good bonus room. The location cannot be beat, short walk down the stairs to the beach and all the places we wanted to go on the island were only a couple minutes away. We are already planning the next stay!
