Located outside of Charlestown, Indiana, a perfect retreat. Escape the interstate traffic and the day to day. Nestled into a lively community, the property at Bushman's Lake is steps away from Summer’s on the River (re-opening soon). The cabin features a cozy queen bed and a large living room with a queen sofa bed and futon, perfect for extra guests. The bathroom includes a waterfall shower and a bidet. Step outside for a beautiful view of the Ohio, cook breakfast on the Blackstone, or just enjoy coffee on the front porch sofa. Out back is a small grassy area great for star gazing, catching blue gill, or a small campfire. There is an outdoor shower and it is wired for a camper to connect to electric. Whether you’re relaxing inside or planning your next adventure with friends, this cottage provides a perfect home base with parking spaces for your truck, boat, bikes, and camper!

Why they chose this property

I’ve loved this place since childhood! My grandfather sharecropped the surrounding fields for decades, I spent some teenage years driving golf carts in the circle and have enjoyed a poker run or two. Always something happening at the river, sometimes it's just enjoying the barges passing.

What makes this property unique

This river community offers so much from wildlife and peaceful mornings to live music throughout the summers when the restaurants is open. Great community with even better people!
