This is a great little house. The view is gorgeous, beds are comfortable, host was very thoughtful in the amenities provided. The sunset is unmatched. The only reason I did four stars is the neighborhood. As you drive in to the house, for several minutes actually, the neighborhood is pretty shady. There are a lot of rundown houses, a lot of junk, definitely not well-kept at all. Once you actually get on the lake, the houses are fine just like this one, but just be aware coming in is unsettling.

Unbeatable view. Coffee on 2nd floor balcony is awesome in the morning. The property is very accommodating for pets but the grass was kind of tall and hadn't been mowed. On the 3rd day there were plumbing issues and we reluctantly had to vacate the property. The owner was very accommodating and no doubt it will be fixed soon and back on the market. The directions are accurate but need to be followed exactly. Roads are dirt and gravel.

We stayed here for a weekend girls’ trip. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the property to be peaceful, spacious, and full of indoor and outdoor entertainment options.The highlights for us were the beautiful views, covered patio with solar lighting, comfortable beds, ample towels and pillows, covered parking, and the variety of games available. The location was also convenient, with a local café and restaurant within walking distance.However, there were several issues that future guests should be aware of. The home is in need of a thorough deep cleaning. We found dirty floors, spiderwebs and dirt in window tracks, fingerprints on the sliding glass door, and a shower that had not been fully cleaned prior to our arrival. We also had to wash all dishes, silverware, and cookware before using them because they were greasy and had food stuck on them.The kitchen set up is nice, but a few additions should be considered: essentials, including dish towels, more coffee mugs, cutting/steak knives, and grilling utensils. The stove is older and somewhat difficult to regulate while cooking. 1 thing I’d like to note is that the stand-up shower is quite small- definitely not meant for someone taller than 5’11, 300lbs.

Just an fyi it is on a 20ft cliff you can’t fish off of nor park a boat in from of…I should have looked at the pictures harder.. my fault and the mini splits can’t keep up with this Texas summer heat was hot af till night time so we stayed gone %99 of the time. There is no central ac just mini splits it could use 2 more inside that’s for sure…! Other than that we loved it. NO ONE wants to be inside a hot house during the summer!

This cabin was absolutely incredible. Lake Whitney is a beautiful lake and the Blue Moon, situated on a cliff showcasing that beauty. There's even a terrace right off the upstairs master bedroom to take in the view. Host Julie was incredibly responsive and helpful during our stay. 5 stars for Blue Moon!
