The house was amazing. Tastefully decorated and well stocked. Everything redone. It was SO convenient to everything. You feel far removed from downtown when in truth it's right at your fingertips.
We loved staying at Sara's property! Pictures don't fully capture the charm and aesthetic of the house. Everything was clean and beautiful and tidy. (I've stayed at other spots in Durham and they all feel a little run-down. Little details showed care (bowties on the toilet paper!) The house is beautifully decorated and spacious. The house smells nice as soon as you walk in! Tea and K-Cups available. The back porch is lovely. Plenty of utensils, plates, pots, pans, serving dishes, mugs, glassware in the kitchen. The price was a steal, considering it was graduation weekend for Duke University - much smaller places were more expensive! We had our family of four stay (the sleeper sofa is more like a giant recliner sofa in the master bedroom, the living room sofa is also pretty comfy).Sara was super communicative and allowed us to extend our stay an extra night. Check in was easy, nothing complicated about the electronic door lock. Wifi worked well. I would absolutely stay here again if I'm in Durham. My only suggestion is to please make the sign for the street address more visible. it's nearly impossible to see at night. A good landmark for future guests is to look for the right turn arrow on the road, and turn at the house before that.
