First Class Vacation Apartment with Amazing View towards Old Town & Fortress

Apartment 'Domblick' is situated at the foot of the Mönchsberg, only a few minutes from the banks of the river Salzach. It offers picture book views towards the Old Town with dome, palace and fortress. It is a third floor apartment in a renovated 16th century townhouse (with lift) in one of the oldest parts of the city. Next to it is the old Parish Church of Muelln and the Augustiner monastery turned brewery with its unique historical beer hall and the best beergarden in town.

1184 sq ft. Apartment 'Domblick' has two very large bedrooms with double beds, a fully equipped built-in Poggenpohl kitchen with washing machine & dryer, dishwasher, oven with ceran field, microwave, Nespresso machine, toaster etc. and a 320 sq ft living/dining room with satellite tv, DVD, hifi stereo, WiFi, remote control lighting and seating for four. The bathroom offers a tub with shower as well as a bidet and there is a separate WC.

The apartment has a triple aspect with eleven (!) windows and is therefore not only spacious, but also very light and bright.

Restaurants and shopping facilities are just around the corner and so is the bus stop and the next train station so that you do not need a car to explore Salzburg and its vicinity. For those who come by car there is a large (and safe) car park behind the Augustiner brewery just 3 minutes away.

This is the most beautifully appointed apartment in a great location. The rooms are large and airy with great views of the city and it is just a 10 minute walk down the hill and alongside the river into the city centre. There are also a few shops, cafes and restaurants nearby.

This place was fabulous. Beautiful home. Gorgeous furnishing's and immaculately clean. Great location. Be sure to eat at Barenwirt right next door. The place is beautiful, clean, and in a great location. Note to future guests its not a traditional 1.5 bathroom. The one room has a toilet, and the other only has a bidet. However there is a sink in each room.

The Positives are it is very nice and clean with a great view out all windows. Very spacious with most everything you need. Nice coffee shop on the block.The negatives: Check in is ok but must notify owner within a 30 minute window of arrival as no one on site. Web site cover photo shows a nice wood double door which is actually a photo of the closet door.The outside of the apt is in an industrial looking area with a plain looking metal door making the apt hard to find. Very limited dining areas close by.Most all restaurants and shopping are close but still 1 Kilometer away.The worst part is no fault of the owner. We stayed there in the middle of June.With No A/C the apt was so hot we couldn’t sleep well or relax in the day.Because there is a very busy road right next to the apt with cars a people walking about sleeping with windows open was not an option until after 1:00AMWe slept with earplugs. it is still a really nice apt with a beautiful view and very spacious. I would still recommend staying there but not during the heat of summer. Just know what you’re getting into.

The property was lovely. Clean, kitchen very well equiped with utensils ect, large rooms. The lift was an added bonus. No logging luggage up the stairs. Wonderful location with only a short walk to the old town. Our host was very easy to contact and check in was a breeze. We requested a Christmas tree and they did not disappoint. Loved it! The only thing was the fogging of the windows which in winter, we had to open the windows for the view. Would stay again!
