This was a great house and the hosts were very kind. We enjoyed the country setting, the beds were comfortable and sheets soft, We liked the bed so much we ended up asking what the bed was and we bought it! The appliances were new/nice, and the outdoor firepit was a lovely evening activity. We were close to Watkins Glen State Park, restaurants, and distilleries. I would stay here again!

A welcoming Farmhouse! Thoughtfully refurnished, well stocked, and nicely maintained property including hiking trails. Short drive to Watkins Glen Speedway, the Falls, Seneca Lake, and many, many Wineries! So inviting and relaxing, we did not want to leave and hope to return soon!

A much needed break from the city life. This property had everything we wanted and more! The location was perfect to everything we wanted to do. From vineyards to fishing to waterfalls, the Farmhouse was perfect for us. I was also blown away by the amount of information provided in the house binder on what to do in the area. Thank you for the great time!

A Luxurious Stay with Attention to Details and Total Privacy

Situated on 25 acres with no neighbors gave us the privacy we were looking for! Totally renovated on the inside and the layout was great for 2 couples - 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs although you have to share a bathroom downstairs. Totally equipped with everything you need including thoughtful amenities even Binoculars! No dishwasher but no big deal for us. Danielle and Mark were pro-active in reaching out to make sure nothing was missing with our stay. They focused on the inside and not the outside ie paint (but an expensive metal roof!) so don't let that throw you off. Already recommended to our friends and we will be back!

Beautiful private and peaceful property located a short distance from many of the Finger Lakes sites. The interior was immaculate, modern and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked and attention to detail abound. A new metal roof. Possibly in the not too distance some updates to the exterior facade which will make this gem truly shine. We left feeling renewed and refreshed. Thank you Danielle and Mark.

The house is beautiful, very clean, and just like it appears in the pictures. They have thought of everything! There were walking sticks, binoculars, walkie talkies, umbrellas... and the coffee and tea set up was above and beyond. We loved the location too--nice and quiet, but a short drive to Watkins Glen/Seneca Lake and an easy drive to Cayuga Lake and Ithaca. We loved hiking in Robert H. Treman State Park. The owners also provide a very thorough guidebook with more information than we could even take in. Very helpful! We wish we had been able to stay longer, but we would definitely rent this house again! Thanks, Danielle and Mark!

Farmhouse stay!

We absolutely loved our long weekend at the FLX Escape Farmhouse! My husband and I went to celebrate my birthday with our 2 pups. As always, they have everything you need! The house is incredibly well equipped in every room. The design / decor make it feel like home away from home. The fire pit was an incredible perk for end of the day unwinding! We can't wait to come back.

Selten haben wir so tolle Familienzeit erleben dürfen, wie in dieser Unterkunft. Perfekt eingerichtet für Familien, alles sehr liebevoll und gut durchdacht. Zum ersten Mal hat es uns in einem Ferienhaus an nichts gefehlt. Wirklich absolut zu empfehlen!
