The property was exactly as the host indicated. You need to be able to climb a lot of steps if you have a large vehicle. The sofa was a bit uncomfortable but the cottage worked well for our short trip through Charleston.

Regarding the stairs and parking, we wanted to kindly clarify that because our property is a classic mountain house sitting on a scenic hill, guests will need to climb the steps to reach the house regardless of the size of the vehicle they drive. Due to the natural terrain of the hillside, we unfortunately cannot move the parking area any closer to the home. We are so glad that you overall enjoyed your stay with us, and we would love to welcome you back to the mountains anytime!
