About the host

Host profile image
I am a mom to 4 fabulous kids and a full time Realtor, owning a local real estate company. Besides being a cheerleader and taxi driver for the two kids still at home, I enjoy renovating old homes and buildings on the side, antiquing at flea markets, refinishing/repurposing antiques, and more recently, bee keeping. I enjoy being a host, providing guest with the best accommodations and experience possible.

Why they chose this property

I live in Vevay and when the opportunity came up for me to purchase this building to renovate, it was a no-brainer. This building, being in the heart of Vevay, allows guest to walk to the local shops, restaurants/bar, and to the Ohio River and Ogle Park. It really is an ideal location.

What makes this property unique

This building was built in 1821. There are currently 4 apartments. But originally, one of the main floor units was a saloon. I did not know this until, when redoing the exterior of the building, lettering above the door started to show through... "Delaney's Saloon". It is believe the the lower corner unit was a market at some point. So besides the historical aspect of the building, I strive to provide the best accommodations with all the amenities a guest could need or want so that they have the most enjoyable experience possible.
