The neighborhood beach is also a half block away for fun in the sun. Neighborhood private beach accessible by stairs and tram. What's nearby: Blue Haven is conveniently located half a block from the lake with beautiful walks along the bluff and gorgeous sunsets. If this doesn't take your mind off things, then nothing will! Spend an afternoon exploring the shores of Lake Michigan at North Beach, a nearby park where you can lounge on the sand and splash through the waves in the summertime. Cooler months mean a more tranquil beach experience and peaceful sunset views. You will also be near the heart of Michigan wine country with many wineries within easy driving distance. This charming retreat is also conveniently close to many public beaches available in the area, so outdoor lovers will have plenty of places to choose from such as 1st Street Beach (four miles away), Newcome Beach (less than four and a half miles), Oak Street Beach (four and a half miles), and more! Family vacation

The house was beautiful! Well stocked with everything we needed! Plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 children. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful private beach! The tram and access to the beach would not not be easy for someone with mobility issues but we navigated easily. One of the nicest VRBO houses we have stayed in! We had a wonderful trip! Our littlest wanted to stay on the beach 4 more days!

Great location, beach was really nice and it was great to have the tram especially having a family member with limited mobility. The house was great for a large family, a lot of space to spread out. The multiple decks were so nice! Clean, well stocked. Great house!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable and well appointed. Be aware that the bluff has eroded at the end of LakeView Ave. and you will need to walk to the stairway / tram about ¼ mile south.

Had a great time in South Haven. This home was clean and light. Home was well stocked for any extras one would need. Close to the beach and having the trams to take you and your belongings down to the beach was convenient. The place could use a dehumidifier though. We stayed during the hottest and most humid time in July of 2025, and the top floor was warmer and more humid than we would have liked. All in all, we would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Nice home near the beach with plenty of room for our ten. Tram to beach was glitchy and A/C unit seems too small to properly cool upper level where 8/10 were sleeping. Kitchen was well stocked and it was very clean. Garage only had room for one car, not the 2 spaces in the listing. (Other space occupied by owner’s golf cart)

Beautiful home

We enjoyed this home and its view. We’ve stayed in this neighborhood before and love having the big lake view. The home was beautiful and accommodated my family and my brother’s family well. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking at Lake Michigan (partial view) and walking to the end of the road 5-6 houses) to watch full sunset. Only one tiny miscommunication was info about tram down to beach- was told there was a code but needed an actual key to tram. Tried to ask about the key and Vacasa was not able to understand and answer. We eventually found the key on our own in the house. Another fabulous week in Michigan.
