For a weekend getaway with a private lake this is the perfect destination. I took my wife for a weekend getaway to go kayaking up to Abrams Falls and we had a perfect experience the place is secluded peaceful and has a view worth 1 million words highly recommend and Mike is very responsive and answered every question we had the place is easy to find we had no problems pulled right in the driveway using Google maps also the use of the canoe was a great bonus. We did not utilize because we had our kayaks with us

Joshua, a secluded lake with kayaking access to Abrams Falls is exactly the kind of setup that turns a weekend into something worth talking about. Knowing the canoe was there as a backup while you brought your own kayaks says a lot about how well-equipped the place is. The combination of peaceful scenery and a host who answers every question before you even have to worry makes it easy to settle in from the moment you arrive.
