About this property

Waterfront, dog-friendly suite with Broad Cove access, firepit & sunrise view

Greet each day with a gorgeous view of the sunrise, the woods around you, and the rocky coast of Broad Cove at this lovely, waterfront guest suite in Waldoboro. This is true Midcoast Maine living, with a staircase leading down to the water and some of the region's most beloved spots within a short, scenic drive.

This second-floor suite is a private portion of a larger home on an inlet of Broad Cove, which connects to both the Medomak River and Muscongus Bay. It's an ideal home base for exploring, whether you head to Pemaquid Point, Rockland, Camden, Boothbay Harbor, or Tenants Harbor to catch the ferry to Monhegan Island - all of which are within 30 miles.

In the warmer months, this is a beautiful property for spending time outdoors. Bring your coffee down to the rocky shore each morning (please note that the shore is muddy at low tide), barbecue your lunch on the gas grill, and linger on your deck in the evenings to admire the view at golden hour. There's even a firepit on the grounds for roasting marshmallows and sharing stories of the day's activities.

Inside, the suite is bright, spacious, and inviting. Enjoy an eat-in kitchen with stainless steel appliances, TVs with cable and streaming capability for your evening entertainment, and a selection of board games for fun nights at home. High-speed WiFi is provided for your convenience as well.

Home away from home!

This truly felt as comfortable as our own home. Beautiful water frontage and yard, perfect for kiddos, dogs, kayaking and swimming! The furniture was all comfy, kitchen fully stocked. Not too close to neighbors, at the end of the dead end road. Really, it was a perfect getaway!

Home sweet Home

We found this sweet home very welcoming and comfortable. So much privacy and the property is pristine ! We cooked many meals with all the tools we needed and totally enjoyed the three season porch. We hope to come back in when the dock is in to enjoy the lake. Thank you !

Happy at Sebec

We had an enjoyable experience. Getting to the property posed a slight challenge as the property has an address of 302 Shore Road N, but it is actually 301. Getting the key from the lockbox was just a bit challenging. The house is beautiful and the surroundings are spectacular. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful spot on the lake

We enjoyed our stay onSebec Lake. We brought our boat and loved the private dock that went with this home. It was a quiet area with much to see. We do wish the kayaks would have been availble. The wifi wouldnt work and there is not much (if any) service but we liked to be unplugged. It was hard to plan ahead when we wanted to travel around for the day.

Great Winter Getaway

Lovely property and great little cove to ice fish in! The house was clean and spacious. 'Coffee maker' means Keurig, so pack some Kcups. Only complaint would be difficulty in communicating with the rental management company (Vacasa) about early check-in and late check-out possibilities. Eventually, on the day of check-in, they told us that we could arrive early and stay late. Great winter trip!

Perfect Three-Day Getaway

2 moms and 4 kids 10+ for April break. It was a serene and quiet break from the hustle and bustle of schedules and the pandemic. The property was perfect for outdoor activities (corn hole, football) and Peaks-Kenny State park was a stones-throw away. The property was clean, well-maintained, and well-stocked with kitchen supplies, linens, etc. While it was too early for the boat dock, docks and kayaks, these amenities will make the property dreamy in the summer. If we make our way back to Sebec Lake, we would absolutely consider this property again. Thank you!

Wonderful house in a wonderful spot

Great house on a quiet end of the lake. The house is amazing — in particular the kitchen. Two kids under ten, two dogs and grandparents had a wonderful time. Unusual to have such a rolling lawn down to an actual beach area. We spent most of our time on the deck near the lake which is just lovely. And it has electricity to plug in phones etc. but the screened in porch is also amazing. The kids loved playing on the rocks and swimming in a little cove. Only suggestion would be to have a book of Information at the house. It took a couple of days to figure things out — where the hot water switch was for the outdoor shower, where the grill utensils were in the kitchen, how to work the tv (roku) etc. everything is there but takes some time to figure out. We were from the area so we knew where to go for groceries, ice cream stand etc. but suspect that others would appreciate information on the area.

The best place ever!

The owners have done their job. This space is spotless, spacious, bright and airy. The windows and doors in the entire house are new, clean, and easy to open and close. The screens are tight keeping the bugs out. The kitchen has everything you could need, more then everything! The bedrooms are comfy, and have plenty of storage for your belongings. Washer and dryer and clothes line. My family rented a pontoon boat for 5 of the days we were there. We made many trips back and forth to the dock. I and my hubby are 68/70 years old. We had no problem navigating the steps in the house, leaving the house, the dock and the deck. In fact the deck has yellow lines painted on the two places you could miss the step. Thank you for that. Our two sons traveled from NJ, and our third son and his dog lives near-by. The dog loved it. Even though rain and clouds prevented us from going out on the boat a couple of days, we still nestled in and had wonderful family meals, and comfy lazy days doing "our thing" with plenty of space to roam There is no smoking in the house or anywhere on the property, meaning no designated smoking area's. Just a heads up. Its in the small print. None of us smoke cigarettes. But one has a medical Marijuana card. He took advantage while on the boat. I believe the owners have nothing to do with this, it's the management co. Bring or buy, extra toilet paper, kitchen garbage bags, bath and beach towels. Inconvenient if your flying. Vacasa's MO.
