They are thoughtful with so many little touches!! They had everything to make you feel comfortable like you are at home. They even had a generator which was amazing as the storms knocked out the power twice!

The walkway was a bit icy but there was icemelt available. It could have been more kid-friendly with some safety plugs and decor out of reach of little hands, but overall it was great.
House was ready early and we received a text message telling us we could check in early. That was a nice feature. The house was in a nice quiet neighborhood. Good neighborhood to do laps and get in a nice walk. Location was central for what we were there for. House itself was fine but a little “tired” inside. One of the bathrooms was small with a small shower stall. Not ideal for a larger person. Kitchen seemed to be stocked with enough supplies to make the meals we needed to. Overall fine stay.
Tucked away in the charming village of Damariscotta, Maine, "Nature's Nook" was the perfect home base for our adventure. Nestled in a quiet, wooded neighborhood on the north side of town near Highway 1, this lovely home put us in the heart of everything we love about Maine. Our family of six were comfortable all week. The kids enjoyed the paved drive and played pickleball and wiffleball in the yard. From here, we explored Acadia, Bar Harbor, Camden, Maiden’s Cliff, Freedom (and the unforgettable Lost Kitchen), Augusta, Pemaquid Point, Popham Beach, Freeport Outlets, Harpswell, and Boothbay Harbor. In just ten days, we packed in so many incredible experiences.A huge thanks to Vrbo and the homeowners for sharing their space—it truly felt like home. We indulged in "lobstah" five times and oysters three times, and loved every minute in the Damariscotta area. Maine never disappoints!
The home is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees. A few minute drive will get you to everything the town has to offer. A little longer drive, but still a short one will take you to the lighthouse and beaches and more seafood spots. We loved being able to have a meal on the screened in porch. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked. We had everything we needed. The property management company was amazing at communicating and responding promptly with attention. There were a few areas that seemed to have been passed over with the cleaning prior to our check-in. I shared this with the property management company. They were quick to help. Overall, it was a lovely stay!!
The house is not kept in a condition that makes it suitable for paying guests. There are an unacceptable number easily fixed problems that have been ignored by the host: broken furniture, broken doorknobs, broken TVs. The kitchen is stocked with plates and glasses, but there is no cookware to cook with so you can only prepare microwave meals. The worst part was the filth. There was literally garbage strew about both inside and outside the house. Picking up three garbage bags of someone else's garbage is not what you expect, especially when you've been forced to pay a 498 cleaning fee so that the next guest after you can walk into a clean house. All in all, I can't recommend this house to anyone as a place to stay.

This property was not as pictured or described. The entrance was nasty. The cook top in the kitchen was damaged in such a way that it would have been unsafe to use.
Multiple electrical outlets were overloaded to the point they would have been a fire hazard.
There were numerous spider webs in
and outside the house. The appearance of the house was in no way like the picture that was presented.
We had paid for 8 nights in full but but notified VRBO that we would not be staying and left. We requested a full refund and were finally sent a cleaning fee which was inappropriate because we did not stay there and that amount was only a small portion or the cost of renting the property. As a result of this experience we will never again rent from VRBO and will advise friends to avoid it as well.
