The property was very private and quiet, exactly what we needed. We saw six elk and a bear all from the front porch of the cabin. The only thing that was a little concerning was that the bath tub was a deep claw foot unit and being 70 years old myself, it was tough getting in and out, but I did manage. Other than that it was a great experience. We loved it!
I stayed in this adorable cabin for two nights while attending the Maggie Valley Arts & Crafts fair. It was my first time to Maggie Valley and Ken was very communicative regarding check in instructions, how to get to the cabin, and ensuring that I had everything I needed. I can't wait to come back for next year's festival and stay at the cabin again!

My husband and I built the cabin by ourselves with the help of family members. A lot of love went into it, and previous guests have remarked that they feel so relaxed and cozy. We're not a business, so it's just the one cabin. Enjoy privacy and serenity!
