About this property

A classic Maine waterfront retreat with easy access to Acadia National Park.

Welcome to Lone Pine Camp, our authentic Molasses Pond camp. It's a peaceful waterfront retreat designed for guests who love the classic Maine lake experience: quiet mornings, loons on the water, and star-filled nights.

The cabin blends rustic charm with thoughtful updates, including an updated kitchen, strong Wi-Fi, and a beautiful custom cedar outdoor shower. It’s the perfect home base for families or couples looking to unplug while still enjoying modern essentials.

You’ll be just steps from the water (under 100 feet) with private access for swimming, paddling, and relaxing by the shore.

In the unlikely event that you get tired of lake days, Acadia National Park and picturesque Schoodic Peninsula are under an hour's drive away. Forget something? Nearby Ellsworth boasts a Walmart and Home Depot and multiple full grocery stores.

Named for the iconic pine on Maine’s original 1901 state flag, Lone Pine Camp celebrates the timeless spirit of the Maine woods: simple, peaceful, and deeply connected to nature.

The camp is located on the southern end of a larger lakeside property that also includes the owners’ seasonal residence. The cabin is separated from the main house by approximately 100 feet of woods and has its own private entrance, waterfront access, outdoor spaces, and parking area. While you may occasionally see us elsewhere on the property, guests have a fully separate and private space in which to enjoy their stay.
