About this property

Waterfront Camp On Webb Pond

Our three bedroom, one bath camp/ cottage on the waters edge of Webb Pond, sleeps 7 plus pull out sofa. We offer an updated camp with all the modern conveniences.

We have a new bathroom with a large shower, toilet, sink, washer and dryer. We also put in a new kitchen counter and sink. Smoke detector in all rooms, new windows with screens.
Wake up in the morning and have your coffee on the deck or down on the beach and watch the loons, ducks, and eagles. Drop a line in to fish or sit and read a book and relax.
Our camp has 3 bedrooms, two bedrooms have queen beds, the third has one single and a double bed. We have a very large open kitchen, dining, living area, plus a large enclosed porch overlooking the pond. Outside has dining table and a fire pit with adirondack chairs to enjoying, with easy access to shore to put in kayaks. There is also a beach for sun bathing, or a game of horseshoes.
Webb pond is a large 915 acre pond with a depth of 26 feet. With such a shallow depth there are some rocks which is not ideal for larger power boats, although some do water ski and tube. Making it a quiet and peaceful pond perfect for canoeing, kayaking and fishing. The pond has Brook trout, small mouth bass, white perch and pickerel. There is a small island about a ten to fifteen minute paddle from shore a great spot to take a picnic lunch or just explore. We have a nice beach in front of the camp where you can swim and cool off. The public beach is just 400 yards away which has sand beach and swim area.
The Franklin trading post store is 6 miles away which has basic supplies, milk, ice cream, cereal, etc. beer, wine, bait for fishing, plus offer breakfast and lunch to eat in or take out.
We have been renting our camp for five years, we have been renting our home in Bar Harbor since 2008, property #173759 if you would like to check reviews.

I (Maryellen) was born in this area and grew up here. I was raised in Trenton Maine and now live in Bar Harbor with my husband Augie. Augie was born in New York City and came here to meet my parents before we got married and fell in love with the area. We have been living here together since 1987. We both enjoy the beauty of Acadia National Park with all it has to offer, hiking and biking trails, and the ocean activities. We enjoy the pond canoeing and kayaking. We know the area well and would be happy helping you with your plans for your vacation.
