About this property
Waterfront Camp On Webb Pond
Our three bedroom, one bath camp/ cottage on the waters edge of Webb Pond, sleeps 7 plus pull out sofa. We offer an updated camp with all the modern conveniences.
We have a new bathroom with a large shower, toilet, sink, washer and dryer. We also put in a new kitchen counter and sink. Smoke detector in all rooms, new windows with screens. Wake up in the morning and have your coffee on the deck or down on the beach and watch the loons, ducks, and eagles. Drop a line in to fish or sit and read a book and relax. Our camp has 3 bedrooms, two bedrooms have queen beds, the third has one single and a double bed. We have a very large open kitchen, dining, living area, plus a large enclosed porch overlooking the pond. Outside has dining table and a fire pit with adirondack chairs to enjoying, with easy access to shore to put in kayaks. There is also a beach for sun bathing, or a game of horseshoes. Webb pond is a large 915 acre pond with a depth of 26 feet. With such a shallow depth there are some rocks which is not ideal for larger power boats, although some do water ski and tube. Making it a quiet and peaceful pond perfect for canoeing, kayaking and fishing. The pond has Brook trout, small mouth bass, white perch and pickerel. There is a small island about a ten to fifteen minute paddle from shore a great spot to take a picnic lunch or just explore. We have a nice beach in front of the camp where you can swim and cool off. The public beach is just 400 yards away which has sand beach and swim area. The Franklin trading post store is 6 miles away which has basic supplies, milk, ice cream, cereal, etc. beer, wine, bait for fishing, plus offer breakfast and lunch to eat in or take out. We have been renting our camp for five years, we have been renting our home in Bar Harbor since 2008, property #173759 if you would like to check reviews.

We really enjoyed our stay on Webb Pond. The Camp was super clean as advertised, and was a perfect location for us to experience Acadia National Park, the Schoodic Peninsula and Bar Harbor. Hosts were very responsive and helpful and we would highly recommend to friends thinking about visiting the area.
The cabin had everything we needed. It was was cozy and rustic with a beautiful view. The shower had great pressure. It was an easy drive to Arcadia. The hosts were great.
Auggie and Maryellen were great! This camp on the pond was like a little piece of heaven! Views were amazing, beds were comfy and the quiet was divine. We got to see a moon bath on the water with stars shining above. We hope to come back.

We enjoyed our stay at Getaway Cove. It was quiet, private and had everything we needed. The lake was beautiful and there were many activities near by. We enjoyed whale watching, and days at Acadia National Park. The house was spacious enough for a family of 5.

thanks for staying with us again .hope you return soon.
Our family had a lovely time relaxing here. Beautiful views of the lake, and nice little cove to hangout in, which made it feel so secluded. We enjoyed taking the canoes out on the water, and catching a few fish. The cabin was immaculate and so well put together. We had plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, and pots and pans to use! Lots of room to spread out and chill. This was the perfect place for a little rest and reset. We also explored a little bit of Ellsworth and Acadia National Park while there. It was great! Our hosts were awesome!! They made sure we had everything we needed and gave us some good suggestions for the area. I would definitely book this cabin again, it was awesome!!
Our family enjoyed a lovely week here. We brought our kayaks and had a wonderful time exploring the pond or just sitting on the beach next to the water. The cabin had everything we needed and was very comfortable for our family of five.

We were looking for a quiet cabin on a beautiful lake and we found it at Get Away Cove! It was everything we wanted from kayaking, fishing, swimming or just enjoying the beautiful surroundings and also close enough to all the amenities the Down East area has to offer. Escape your reality and enjoy the simple pleasures of Get Away Cove!

About the host
Hosted by Maryellen/August Lozano
I (Maryellen) was born in this area and grew up here. I was raised in Trenton Maine and now live in Bar Harbor with my husband Augie. Augie was born in New York City and came here to meet my parents before we got married and fell in love with the area. We have been living here together since 1987. We both enjoy the beauty of Acadia National Park with all it has to offer, hiking and biking trails, and the ocean activities. We enjoy the pond canoeing and kayaking. We know the area well and would be happy helping you with your plans for your vacation.
Why they chose this property
This camp is an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. When you are here you feel as if you are a hundred miles from anything but you can be back in the city of Ellsworth in 20 minute or in beautiful Acadia Park in 45 minutes. If you are looking to relax and enjoy the wonders of nature this is the place for you.
