About the host
Hosted by Lara Moussa
I saw this house for sale and fell in love with it, although it was in a difficult shape at the time. I took on a full intense project of fixing it and Rehabbing it to bring it back to life and I wanted to preserve the history in it as well. This project consumed my life for 6+ months yet it was worth it and a total labor of love. I hope you enjoy the charm and magic in it that I found as well. It is still a working project with the garden and back yard to rebuild this beautiful house and bring it back to it's old charm.
Why they chose this property
It's close to charming downtown Durham, Duke University, Museum of Life and science, 20 Min from Chapel Hill and Hillsborough and 30 Min from beautiful Raleigh.
What makes this property unique
This is a 1930 House that was owned by a a Fidelity Band Manager (Mr. Parrish) who walked to his work in downtown every day. It holds a lot of the History and Charm of the past.
