This property is half of a duplex and that was not in the listing. Photos give a false impression of large view windows. There is one set of windows with an across the street lake view but is largely blocked by brush growth. Parking area is not paved and uneven. Lake views are decent driving in and out of the area. This is a large space with plenty of beds. The heat worked well. Sadly, Upon first entry we were greeted by the smell of cigarette smoke. I am highly allergic so I could not stay. I had to make other arrangements. Very disappointing. The others in my party were able to tolerate it after a can of febreeze was deployed. There are “no smoking” signs inside. One was in a frame with broken glass shards exposed. Glad I didn’t bring kids as originally planned. Floors were newly cleaned and polished but there were two occupied spider webs and empty cob webs both high and low. We were able to get rid of those easily enough. Otherwise, the entire space was very, very clean. Never saw the beach since stair access was dangerous for older folks in our group. When I messaged tge management about the smoke there were apologies and promises to do better for the next renters but no refund offered. I would not rent this property again. I could recommend it for smoking college students. The area had a lower end vibe.
