Great lakeside, comfortable cabin.
Beautiful, quiet location with easy access to the lake. Full, well appointed kitchen, and plenty of room for 4 people. We also appreciated the easy ability to recycle!
Kayaking and swimming are great. Had good fortune to meet neighbors and enjoy sunset crises. Local eating options awesome, tubbys, general store in wayne and westhervane north of winthrop.
Great location, fantastic lake access. There is potable water through a bubbler, and it turns out there is a filter for the house water which made us feel better. Once we learned that. Beautiful spot, it made me wish I owned a place like that.
Beautiful stay and awesome host! Bill was just as amazing as the fishing. Will be venturing back for sure! -Derek

Great Getaway
Cozy cabin with amazing views, especially the sunrise. The location had all the amenities and then some. we enjoyed in the mornings, relaxing in the afternoon and making s’mores (and enjoying a beer) at night by the fire pit. The board games available were a hit as well as we enjoy playing cribbage. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again in the future!

Just as described
The place is just as described. The lake is big, and not busy at all. There are kayaks available, and several little islands to explore.
The home is located in the woods and is very quiet. The home has all the necessities. The owner was very friendly and available.
If you are looking for a peaceful getaway this is it. If you are looking to do lake things this is it as well.
We didn’t explore the area although had the intention to do so. We just found the place too relaxing and stayed in. There is a grocery market 16 min away ( they sell alcohol in the market as well, so you can do all the shopping in one trip).
