Great Stay

Stay overall was great, cabin was nice and cozy. Just a couple of FYIs microwave didn’t work which I only tried using once and the hot tub only warmed up to 95 degrees.

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay. We especially enjoyed having a Hot tub on the cold days. The cabin was not as large as the pictures suggest. We did have a nice stay and we would certainly stay there again.

Beautifully private cabin

The cabin was comfortable and clean and close to the hiking that we had planned. It’s also very quiet in that area and we were happy that we could have our dog there with a fenced yard.

Sleeping Bear Cabin

Sleeping Bear Cabin was a lovely place to stay. However, persons who have difficulty climbing stairs would have a hard time staying here. There was a flight of stairs up to the front door, another up to the loft bedroom, and another down to the laundry area.

Nice Place

We had a great time and enjoyed the cabin and the surrounding neighborhood. The Cabin is on the main road so it is not quite or private. Located with great access to hiking and Hatcher Lake.

4th of July Getaway

Great cabin. Clean. Nice furniture, beds, and hot tub. Space was great for relaxing and enjoying the cool breeze with front and back doors open. Nearby Pagosa attractions were a short drive away. Had a really nice stay.

Coffee pot was broken. Frying pan should’ve been thrown away a long time ago and a cast-iron skillet. Somebody scrubbed it incorrectly and it had rust on it. Back patio needs to be sprayed for spiders. The lock and key that was supposed to be on the hot tub was not there. There was no coffee or salt and pepper. Whoever wrote that it was a short walk to restaurants and trails was sorely mistaken. Closest restaurant was 6 miles away. It was a couple of closer trails for hiking, but not really worth within walking distance and if you did walk, you’d be on a major roadway, which was not safe. One of the rocking chairs had a broken slat in the front and the propane tank that was supposed to have propane was almost empty and the meat that was cooking did not finish. Doing a couple of other things, but I can’t think of them right now seem to be like they were either new host or they were getting ready to sell the place and winding down the necessities.

Cozy Cabin

We loved everything about the Cabin! It was a great place to spend a relaxing week; quiet, peaceful, plenty of space, fenced in yard for our TootleBug (Chiweenie), very comfortable bed (best night’s sleep, sleeping with the windows open!). Great neighborhood out by Lake Hatcher and close to Coyote Hill and entrance to San Juan National Forest.

We love Pagosa

A wonderful place to stay. The cabin was well decorated. Very clean except for the mold on the bottom of the shower curtains. Could use a drywall repair in the downstairs bedroom.

Perfect Family Getaway

The 2 feet of snow that fell... making the back yard a perfect place to build a snow fort... was just a bonus on top of the ping-pong and hot tubbing. The home is cozy and has everything you need to stay in for meals. Truly a home away from home! (We had so much fun playing ping-pong we ordered a table for our actual home!)

Great Stay

Home was everything we needed for our week long stay. Yard was perfect for our dogs. Even had a few deer in the yard while we there. Enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the front balcony in the mornings while having morning coffee. Nice to have access to garage which helped with loading and unloading vehicle. Location was ideal for our agenda. Highly recommend.
