The property was super clean on the inside of the house. Had 5 guys there for a bachelor party and all kinds of room for sleeping and hanging out. House was full with amenities and extra food and goodies.

The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean, and we had a wonderful stay. We loved it so much that we're already talking about bring some more family members with us next summer. As others have mentioned in their reviews, the wonderful fresh produce, frozen foods, and other provisions were such a welcome surprise. I have stayed in many summer rentals over the years and have never seen anything like it. Crooked Lake is just lovely, and Anne's house is exactly as described. She was the perfect host, and I recommend her house to anyone.

House was well appointed with high quality cookware, supplies, towels, firewood, camp chairs, etc. All new appliances making the kitchen very usable. There is no grill, which is rare, but was not expected as listing was accurate. Host provided a welcome gift basket stocked with many local food items which the family enjoyed. We were able to dock our 19ft boat at the property, however it is very shallow. Many weeds in the water near the dock, do not plan to swim near the shore, but Crooked Lake is amazing and great for boat, kayak, paddle boards, etc. U.S. 31 road is busy, but had no issues with noise or safety. Driveway is large allowing us to drive in and turn around to avoid backing out onto the busy road. Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The bike path is nearby. Kids loved playing table tennis in the very clean and comfortable garage.

Our stay at the Crooked Lake property was amazing. Our group of three adult and two teen agers were greeted with a vase of fresh flowers and a very generously supply offrozen food from the Bear Creek organic farm plus staples , fresh produce and snacks a real luxury. Having all the ingredients for dinner our first night there a great convenience. The meat pies were delicious, plus fresh tomatoes. The beds are very comfortable, including the sofa beds. You can watch the sun come up over the lakefrom the sofa bed in the sun room; beautiful sight. The kitchen is newly remodeledand has everything. The house is cozy, spacious and very well furnished.
