About this property

Summit View Retreat • Walk to Main St & Peak 9 • Penthouse • Hot Tubs

Perched above Breckenridge in the heart of Breckenridge, Summit View Retreat combines the warmth of a true mountain lodge with the convenience of one of Breck's most walkable locations. Vaulted ceilings, dramatic timber architecture, a glowing fireplace, and views toward Breckenridge Ski Resort create a stay that feels distinctly Colorado from the moment you arrive.

After a day on the mountain, gather beneath soaring ceilings in the family room, relax fireside with a drink, or unwind in the community hot tubs just steps away. Large windows fill the home with natural alpine light while the open-concept layout keeps everyone connected—whether you're cooking dinner, planning tomorrow's adventure, or simply enjoying a quiet evening together.

The spacious two-story layout on the top floor of the complex offers multiple sleeping spaces, warm mountain-inspired finishes, and comfortable gathering areas that make the home feel more like a private lodge than a typical condo. The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, quality appliances, and everything needed for family meals, holiday dinners, or après-ski snacks. A private heated garage, additional reserved parking space, in-unit laundry, fitness room, steam room, and game room add even more convenience during your stay.

The sleeping layout works especially well for families and groups. The primary suite occupies the upper level, while a private queen ensuite bedroom and separate bunk room downstairs allow everyone to spread out comfortably. Instant unlimited hot water means no waiting for families or groups while getting ready for dinner, activities, or evenings in town.

Guests love the location because you can enjoy Breckenridge without constantly driving. Main Street restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and the Quicksilver Lift on Peak 9 are all within easy walking distance, giving you quick access to skiing in winter and hiking, biking, festivals, and mountain adventures throughout the summer.

As a Colorado native who grew up skiing, hiking, climbing, and exploring the Rocky Mountains, I've spent a lifetime understanding what makes mountain vacations memorable. My travels have taken me from ski resorts in the Alps to exceptional hotels around the world, and I bring that same appreciation for comfort, hospitality, and thoughtful preparation into every stay I host. Summit View Retreat is carefully prepared to feel warm, welcoming, and easy from the moment you arrive—the kind of mountain home where families reconnect, groups gather comfortably, and core memories are created.

We had a fantastic 2-night stay at this Breckenridge VRBO. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing mountain getaway. The location was excellent—close to town, restaurants, shopping, and beautiful hiking trails, making it easy to enjoy everything Breckenridge has to offer. The home was spacious and perfect for our family, with comfortable beds, updated bathrooms and plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches that made us feel at home. Property comes with 2 dedicated parking spaces. Kids enjoyed bunk beds and both used top two bunks. The host was responsive, helpful, and made the check-in and check-out process seamless. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting Breckenridge. Some updating needed for frying pants and if anyone is planning to stay in the summer, make sure to bring portable fans. It was a bit warm at night without AC. Thank you for a great stay. Maryna

As a Colorado native who grew up skiing, climbing, hiking, and exploring nearly every corner of this state—and many others around the globe—I’ve spent a lifetime chasing adventure and appreciating comfort. From ski runs in the Alps to high-end hotels in Dubai, I’ve seen what true hospitality looks like, and I bring that mindset to every detail of your stay.

Before entering the business world, I worked as a chef, bartender, and waiter, which taught me firsthand how to create exceptional guest experiences. I host the way I like to be hosted—with intention, quality, and no cut corners. The Summit View Retreat is a reflection of that. I’m proud to host this home base with fellow travelers and help guide your family to unforgettable memories in Breckenridge and beyond.

Why they chose this property

Location is everything. I chose this particular spot because it offers the best of both worlds—just a short walk to the Quicksilver lift and Main Street, yet far enough from the core to avoid the late-night crowd noise. It’s tucked on the south edge of town, which means quieter nights, quicker trail access, and the rare luxury of not needing a car. I park in the heated garage and step into adventure from the front door. It reminds me of ski towns in Europe—walkable, beautiful, and built for freedom.

What makes this property unique

Freedom and flexibility. That’s what sets The Summit View Retreat apart. With lifts, town, and trails just steps away, there’s no need for rigid group schedules or meet-up points. You can head out early to catch the fresh powder while others sleep in, join each other when it fits, or peel off at your own pace. Whether you're out chasing snow or curled up in the hot tub or sofa with a glass of wine, everyone gets to do their vacation their way.

The space is designed with intention: it's not just about where you stay—it's about how you feel while you're here. Relaxed, recharged, and truly taken care of.
