About this property

Summit View Retreat • Walk to Main St & Peak 9 • Penthouse • Hot Tubs

You found it! Location, location, location. Park the car and leave it, walk to the lifts and Main Street, then come home from Main Street and sleep without the late-night noise.

Welcome to Summit View Retreat, a top-floor, two-story mountain home where vaulted ceilings, dramatic timber architecture, and views toward Breckenridge Ski Resort create the Colorado lodge experience you came here for. Gather around the fire after a day on the mountain, share some wine and stories from the day, or simply enjoy having the space to be together without everyone being on top of each other.

Gather Beneath the Vaulted Ceilings -
The family room is the heart of Summit View Retreat. Soaring ceilings, exposed timber, large windows, and a gas fireplace create a warm mountain atmosphere from the moment you walk inside.

The living, dining, and kitchen areas flow together, keeping everyone connected whether you're making dinner, relaxing by the fire, watching a movie, or planning tomorrow's adventure.

And because you're on the top floor, there's nobody living above you.

Two Floors Give Everyone Some Space -
One of the best features of Summit View Retreat is how naturally the two-story layout works for families and groups.

The primary suite occupies the upper level, creating a private retreat away from the main floor. Downstairs, a queen en-suite bedroom and separate bunk room give the rest of the group their own sleeping spaces.

Everyone can gather together when they want to—and retreat to their own space when they don't.

A Kitchen That's Actually Equipped -

The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, quality appliances, cookware, and the essentials needed for everything from breakfast before first chair to après-ski snacks and dinner together.

The open layout also means whoever is cooking remains part of the group instead of disappearing into another room.

Mountain Comfort -
After skiing, hiking, biking, or exploring town, come home to the comforts that matter after a full day outside.

Always Instant Unlimited Hot Water means hot water is waiting and doesn't run out, so the entire group can shower and get ready for dinner without waiting for a water heater to recover.

Full-size in-unit laundry makes it easy to wash and dry ski layers, hiking clothes, and mountain-bike gear so everything is ready for tomorrow.

Your Own Private Heated Garage -
Your private heated garage protects your vehicle from the weather and provides secure storage for skis, snowboards, bikes, and mountain gear. You'll also have an additional reserved parking space.

The Summit View Retreat's heated snowmelt parking areas and walkways make winter arrivals easier, with less time dealing with snow and ice and more time enjoying Breckenridge.

And once you've parked, you may not need the car again until you leave.

Soak After the Mountain -
After a full day outside, head to The large outdoor community hot tubs and soak under the Colorado sky.

Guests also have access to the steam room, fitness center, and game room with pool, foosball, air hockey, and a large TV.

Breckenridge Without the Car -
Peak 9, the Quicksilver Lift, ski school, historic Main Street, restaurants, shopping, après-ski, and nightlife are all within an easy walk.

That gives everyone freedom to experience Breckenridge on their own schedule. Head out early for fresh powder while someone else sleeps in. Some can stay on the mountain for late-afternoon tracks while others head into town. Meet later for dinner or drinks, or simply walk home whenever you're ready.

No rigid group schedule. No meet-up point. No coordinating cars or parking.

And when the evening is over, walk home from Main Street to the quieter south end of town and sleep without the late-night noise.

In summer, the same freedom applies to hiking, biking, restaurants, shopping, festivals, and exploring Breckenridge.

Your Colorado Host -
As a Colorado native and lifelong skier, climber, hiker, biker, and traveler, I've spent a lifetime exploring Colorado and mountain destinations around the world. Whether you need a restaurant recommendation, ski advice, ideas for the family, scenic drives, or help planning tomorrow's adventure, I'm happy to share what I've learned.

Before entering the business world, I worked as a chef, bartender, and waiter, which taught me firsthand what exceptional hospitality looks like. I host the way I like to be hosted—with intention, quality, and no cut corners.

Think of me as your Rocky Mountain Guide—here when needed, invisible when not.

About the host

Host profile image

As a Colorado native who grew up skiing, climbing, hiking, and exploring nearly every corner of this state—and many others around the globe—I’ve spent a lifetime chasing adventure and appreciating comfort. From ski runs in the Alps to high-end hotels in Dubai, I’ve seen what true hospitality looks like, and I bring that mindset to every detail of your stay.

Before entering the business world, I worked as a chef, bartender, and waiter, which taught me firsthand how to create exceptional guest experiences. I host the way I like to be hosted—with intention, quality, and no cut corners. The Summit View Retreat is a reflection of that. I’m proud to host this home base with fellow travelers and help guide your family to unforgettable memories in Breckenridge and beyond.

Why they chose this property

Location is everything. I chose this particular spot because it offers the best of both worlds—just a short walk to the Quicksilver lift and Main Street, yet far enough from the core to avoid the late-night crowd noise. It’s tucked on the south edge of town, which means quieter nights, quicker trail access, and the rare luxury of not needing a car. I park in the heated garage and step into adventure from the front door. It reminds me of ski towns in Europe—walkable, beautiful, and built for freedom.

What makes this property unique

Freedom and flexibility. That’s what sets The Summit View Retreat apart. With lifts, town, and trails just steps away, there’s no need for rigid group schedules or meet-up points. You can head out early to catch the fresh powder while others sleep in, join each other when it fits, or peel off at your own pace. Whether you're out chasing snow or curled up in the hot tub or sofa with a glass of wine, everyone gets to do their vacation their way.

The space is designed with intention: it's not just about where you stay—it's about how you feel while you're here. Relaxed, recharged, and truly taken care of.
