Wonderful home! Kitchen is very nice for cooking/hanging out with everyone across dining/living space. Ventilation would be improved in bedrooms with ceiling fans. The garage is set up as rec/game room but in Iowa summers and winters it is either too humid or too cold making the area less of an option for use. Used for events at Iowa State Fairgrounds with very easy interstate driving. Location close to bars/restaurants/shopping while being a quiet suburban neighborhood. Overall a very solid option!

The house was clean and well taken care of. Inside was exceptional, the outdoor space has room to improve but it was not a detractor from the visit.

Hi! I’m Ryan, and I truly enjoy creating comfortable and welcoming stays for my guests. I believe a great vacation rental should feel like a home away from home—somewhere you can relax, settle in, and enjoy your time with the people you’re traveling with.

I love hosting families, friends, professionals, and travelers visiting the area for all kinds of occasions. I take pride in being responsive and helpful throughout your stay, and I’m always happy to answer questions or provide recommendations when needed.

What I enjoy most about hosting is knowing that our home can be part of someone’s trip, whether you’re visiting family, traveling for work, exploring the Des Moines area, or simply looking for a comfortable place to get away. My goal is to make your stay as easy, enjoyable, and stress-free as possible. I look forward to hosting you!

Why they chose this property

We chose this neighborhood because it offers the perfect balance of a quiet, comfortable residential setting while still being conveniently located near everything you may need during your stay. Grimes has a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere that makes it a great place to come home to after a busy day.

We especially enjoy the peaceful surroundings and easy access to local restaurants, shopping, parks, and everyday essentials. At the same time, guests can easily explore the greater Des Moines area for dining, entertainment, events, and attractions.

Whether you're visiting family, traveling for work, attending a local event, or simply looking for a comfortable place to unwind, this neighborhood provides a convenient and relaxing home base for your stay.

What makes this property unique

What makes our home special is the combination of space, comfort, and convenience it offers. We’ve created a welcoming place where guests can settle in, spend quality time together, and truly feel at home throughout their stay.

The home is especially well suited for families, groups, extended stays, and guests who appreciate having more room and privacy than a traditional hotel. From comfortable spaces to relax and gather to the everyday conveniences that make longer stays easier, the property is designed with both comfort and functionality in mind.

Whether you're in town to visit family, traveling for work, attending an event, or exploring the Des Moines area, our goal is to provide a comfortable home base where you can relax at the end of the day and enjoy your time together.
