This is a dog friendly rental but there is cloth furniture and area rugs. The furniture is dingy from dogs I am assuming. You have to block off (there is no door) the theatre room to keep pets off of the carpet. The beds were clean and comfortable. Floors needed a good thorough cleaning by somoene willing to remove the rugs before running a swiffer mop and calling it clean so it could use a deep clean, lets put it that way. There was a fan running when we came in but very musty smell. It is important to know that there are no extra hand towels, absolutely no washcloths, and the towels appear to be some beach towels in a basket. When opening and shaking one of th beach towels over the white bathtub there was alot of other peoples hair coming out of the towels so we had to wash them before using them. Had we known, we would have brought our own. The bathroom is super tiny. Larger people or those with handicaps could not use this bathroom. Host is responsive. It is fairly private. If you drive a large van or truck the driveway across the branch is extremely narrow, little to no room to maneuver or turn around. The outdoor lights are solar and only come on for about an hour after dark before the battery zonks out. It is in a good location as far as just outside of the national park and Pigeon Forge so that part is great. You will also want to know that they expect you to load and run the dishwasher and carry all trash to the driveway bins. That should be made to know up front!
