Appartement 2 - Haus Zak

Our apartments have been recently renovated (May 2023), are very spacious (80 square metres), and can accommodate five people (two double bedrooms and one single bedroom). The kitchen-living room features a cosy sitting area, and the bathroom is spacious. There is a second bathroom in an adjoining room. Each apartment has two parking spaces directly in front of the house, as well as a garden area of approximately 300 square metres.



We look forward to welcoming you to our “Haus Zak.” Our two apartments, situated in a quiet and sunny location, are an ideal starting point for all kinds of outdoor activities in a pristine natural setting. On easy hikes or by bike, you can quickly reach the headwaters of the Isar and the other picturesque Karwendel valleys. The nearby cable cars in Seefeld and Mittenwald provide access to wonderful mountain areas, and in the nearby lakes around Mittenwald, you can swim or take a walk with a completely different view.

As a mountain photographer and author (Karwendel, Wetterstein), I am one of the most knowledgeable guides in our Alpine region, from the easiest hikes to all kinds of mountaineering and climbing routes. I personally set up the routes at the nearby Sonnenplatten climbing area—just five minutes from the house. In winter, you can access the cross-country ski trail just 50 metres from the house, take a stroll along winter hiking trails, or visit the easily accessible “Bergbahnen Rosshütte” ski area in Seefeld.



On-site fees: A security deposit of 300 € is due before or upon your arrival and can be paid either by bank transfer or in cash. This deposit will be refunded to you after the final cleaning.



Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to midnight, and check-out is from midnight to 11:00 AM.
