Lovely experience in Testaccio

The flat is very cosy and it has everything you need. You can easily walk to the bus or to the metro station and nearby you have shops, good restaurants and the famous Testaccio market. With a 20 min walk you can reach Trastevere, Garbatella and the the Jewish district.

The location was great. We liked the park close by . Very family oriented and the people were very friendly. The bar was on the street so you could enjoy it in the park. The downside was there was construction at the complex that we were not informed of which made it noisy in the morning. We were advised to take the Leonardo Express. This is not the correct train to take. It cost an extra 50 euros to taxi from the train station to the apartment. Take the Ostiense train not the Leonardo Express . The shower was small as most European showers are and the water could have been hotter. The shower door was off the track so be careful not to flood the bathroom. There is a key required for the elevator which we were not given. Even though it say first floor it's still a hole up narrow steps . If you have bad knees it's a chore. Ask for an elevator key! The apartment is close to the various bus stops which we used. Overall it was a pleasant stay due to the location. When construction is complete it will be much nicer.
