The cabin was good, We did have a septic issue while there, we notified the home owner and he tried to remedy the issue without bother to our stay but was unable to repair totally. The water has a fishy odor to it.

Disliked: Listing accuracy
Unfortunately, this property was not in a condition I would consider suitable as a vacation rental. The property manager was pleasant and responsive, but the cabin itself had numerous problems. When we arrived, the toilet was broken and there was virtually no water pressure. The manager quickly arranged for a plumber, but the uncertain arrival time limited our plans for much of the following day. Once those issues were fixed, we discovered that the bathroom sink and shower drained extremely slowly, leaving standing water for 5–10 minutes. More concerning, the water itself was visibly brownish. Drinking water was provided, but bathing and washing dishes still required using the discolored water. The listing also advertised a washing machine and dishwasher; neither was present. Additionally, the front door jamb had previously been kicked in and was never properly repaired. The door latched, but was essentially secured by a thin fragment of remaining wood.Given these issues, we requested a discount, which was denied. We also never received our security deposit back. The manager was courteous and responsive, but that cannot overcome the condition of the property. For a very basic hunting or fishing cabin, it may suffice. For a comfortable family vacation rental, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
