This place is a pearl. In this price range, some rentals trade location for intrinsic charm, others are beautiful but in the middle of nowhere. Elissa’s place brings the best of both. The photos don’t do it justice - it’s everything you’d want in a Maine cottage and then some. The decor is authentic and chic, the views magnificent, and Elissa our host gracious and welcoming. Our favourite part: walking out the front door, across the lawn and down the stairs to the mudflats for miles and miles of exploration at low tide. Next time, we’re bringing shovels to hunt for clams!
