About the host
Hosted by Mark Haley
I first discovered Provincetown [Ptown] when on Spring Break with friends from college. Before leaving that week I had secured a job and a place to live for the Summer. Since that time, Ptown has held a very special place in my heart. I returned many many times. I was very lucky a couple of years ago for Fairyland to fall into my lap as everything aligned just right for me to be able to acquire my get away. I am very happy to share all my knowledge about town with you, so feel free to reach out if you need.
Why they chose this property
I did not really chose this neighborhood, as much as it chose me. A friend as well as a client approached me and offered Fairyland to me off market. I was driving from Boston to Ptown that weekend to visit and check it out. I had past by this complex many times but I never thought it had street appeal as the front is a parking strip. Once past the cars, walking down the deck to the door your transported into a little oasis. Little cottages behind and gardens below. Once you arrive you really can be whoever you want to be, because you're free.
What makes this property unique
I am in the process of making this place better. I have added many little touches to make this happen. A whales tail hanging high was created by a local artisan from Falmouth. If you study it you can actually see the waves bubble from the crash. The life preserver art from a local auction to support the Aids Support Group. The Fuchsia chairs, just to say it is okay to be different. I hope you like my place as much as I do.
