We loved the Black Bear Cabin! It is adorably decorated. The colors and finishes chosen are perfect. We sighed a breath of relief and immediately felt relaxed. We agreed it’s the best-stocked rental we’ve ever stayed at, including the old time-shares. There are many items that are so thoughtful, from the s’mores supplies to the coffee supplies (thank you!!!) to the adult coloring books and the various baggies and wraps. The king bed was extremely comfortable and plush. The pillows are very full, so perfect for side-sleepers. Both beds are high, but we suggested step-stools to the extremely responsive hosts. Whenever we had a question or concern, the hosts responded very quickly.The area is sooo peaceful and quiet. We had two doe and two fawns in the yard one morning, two geese on the lake another morning, and the most beautiful foggy sunrises across the lake every morning. The view outside those huge windows is mesmerizing. It’s not far to a few stores for supplies, and just a bit farther into town for a selection of restaurants and shops. Exploring the larger area was fun, but we recommend taking at least one day to just stay close and enjoy this beautiful property and neighborhood.We loved our stay and would rent it again in a heartbeat!
