A Serene Mountain Loft with Extraordinary Blue Ridge Views
Welcome to one of my favorite places to escape, recharge, and reconnect.
This unique loft-style condo offers more than 1,000 square feet of open, unobstructed living space, dramatic vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and breathtaking panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Perched high on Heavenly Mountain in Boone, the condo has a peaceful, romantic atmosphere with warm, soothing interiors, original artwork, handcrafted touches, and views that are difficult to put into words—they truly have to be experienced.
Wake up as the sun rises through the windows. In the evening, watch the mountains transform as the setting sun paints the landscape in extraordinary shades of blue, orange, gold, yellow, and everything in between.
The Space
The condo is ideal for a couple looking for a romantic mountain retreat, but it can also accommodate children or additional guests on the main floor using the day bed/ sofa plus a pull out from under it.
Upstairs in the loft is a queen-size bed positioned toward a wall of windows overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. Imagine waking up, opening your eyes, and seeing the mountains in front of you. Storage space, extra sheets, and blankets are also available.
The condo has **one bathroom** and a well-equipped kitchen supplied with the basics you need to prepare meals during your stay.
A large dining table provides plenty of room for meals, writing, painting, working on a creative project, or simply sitting with your favorite drink while getting lost in the views around you.
There is also a cozy reading nook with an antique brass table, artwork, and another beautiful mountain view. Curl up with a book, enjoy a quiet conversation, or gather on the couch for a family game.
A Smart TV is available so you can connect your device and enjoy your favorite streaming apps and entertainment. Peace & Privacy
The building contains only **12 condos**, and currently very few are regularly occupied, making the atmosphere exceptionally quiet and peaceful. Our condo is on the top floor
A long terrace is shared by the floor and offers another wonderful place to enjoy the mountain air. Foldable chairs are available in the condo closet and can be taken outside to the terrace. A Special Location
The condo is privately owned and completely independent from **The Art of Living Retreat Center**, while being located on the same mountain premises near the dinning hall which offers convenience.
Guests may explore wellness programs and spa experiences offered separately by the Retreat Center. Vegetarian meals may also be available nearby, or you can head into charming downtown Boone, approximately **6 miles away**, where you will find a wide variety of restaurants, cafés, shops, and local attractions.
The surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains also offer wonderful opportunities for hiking, exploring nature, sightseeing, and simply slowing down.
### Getting Here
Drive up the mountain and through the grounds of The Art of Living Retreat Center. The condo is located in the **Tigris building**.
Parking is free and located across from the building, just a short walk from the entrance.
Please note that the condo is on the **top floor and requires climbing two flights of stairs**. There is no elevator. But you may find yourself stopping on the way up—not because of the stairs, but because the mountain views are breath taking!
Once you reach the top floor, the condo is located to your left.
### Mountain Comfort
As is common in mountain properties, the condo does not have central air conditioning. Floor and ceiling fans are provided, and mountain temperatures are generally comfortable, although summer afternoons can occasionally become warm.
During the colder months, **radiant floor heating** creates a wonderfully warm and cozy atmosphere—the warmth beneath your feet is especially comforting after a day outside in the mountains. Before Your Stay
I have prepared a helpful guide with information about the condo, the mountain, and what you may want to bring or know before arriving so that you can prepare for an extraordinary stay.
Most importantly, this is a place to slow down.
Have your morning coffee while watching the mountains wake up. Read by the windows. Create something at the large table. Explore Boone and the surrounding trails. Watch the colors change across the mountains at sunset, and come home to a peaceful space above it all.
**Come up the mountain, breathe deeply, recharge, and experience the Blue Ridge from a very special place.**
Please let us know if there is anything you need or any questions we can answer before or during your stay. We want you to feel comfortable, welcome, and at home.

An absolutely breathtaking view, the home was perfect for us. We drove all over to get the best views of the mountains and when we arrived they were outside our bedroom window. We had everything we needed and it was clean and beautiful.
